I've been thinking about all the amazing things that Club Penguin does for us every month!
Think about it! EVERY MONTH they put together incredible parties, free items, they have 2 Nintendo DS Games and other super coolness.
Sure, they aren't perfect, but let's just admit how awesome they are! They give us the BEST place on the internet to play!
Did you know that Club Penguin is Disney's ONLY online virtual world game that makes money? Pretty sweet!
However, let's take a minute to talk about where Club Penguin fails.
1. Same old free items
2. Delayed Missions
3. Too many member only rooms
4. Too many member only items
5. Rockhopper never comes anymore
6. They took away our TRADITIONAL holiday parties! LAME-O!
7. They don't give out free toast

You know what? I'm SICK (sorry) of Club Penguin now. The one thing, and I mean ONE thing, I wish for, is that New Horizon buys it back, and takes away all the bad things Disney has done. Im sorry Disney, but you screwed up. New Horizon was tottally better. If I had to rate, .5/900000000. I'm really sick of them. They took away the Wigs catalog, wich was so COOl. and I'm just mad. I'm gonna ask them if they could make it like it used to be.

i so frakin agree with you. they should sell member cards all over the world not just in Canada, USA, and UK.
Club penguin sicks i mean seriously. Non members cant get much clothes. It is like it is all about members, it is unfair to the non members. I think CP is very boring

What about ToonTown that makes money...
Club Penguin was really cool back a few years ago but their standerds are getting worse all the time. The mission should have been out ages ago, they took away some good partys, its just the same party every year like puffle,medival party. I remember when cp used to be cool but this year it hasn't been that good.
I also think and have something against Disney. I think Disney have something to do with this!

well cp changed ALOT over the years, i wished they would let non members have like clothes.they barley have any clothes and some younger friends of mine (6,5,and 7 year olds) were angry, and saying ''i want clothes for my penguin, like the other penguins!'', please cp at least give them a coat, shirt or some thing like that. oh and now a days have you ever notice about how members talk?

Ever since Disney bought Clubpenguin all the hunts and stuff they used to give out special items when you finished but now they only give out backrounds and pins
Well I joined CP 1 year later it was released, the first party I saw was the summer party 2007 I believe, it was an awesome party, since Disney bought the company, yes they have grown bigger, but they are doing all parties to repetitive, no new parties just the same from the month...and NO new free items since last year.
I think they are getting lazy, they don't make new missions...new FREE ITEMS...only member rooms.
NO NEW CREATIVE things. They are just copy and pasting all they've done in the past. I am a member BTW. But as member I don't like the clothing they are releasing.
Cp is still a great place to be. Its a AWESOME site but its is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY getting BORING!!!
It annoys me sooooo much that they give out the same items as last year or before. And no CHRISTMAS, EASTER, OR OTHER PARTIES>>>

Me and my cousin used to be obsessed with Club Penguin, and we always had to be online. We spent all our money on club penguin toys and books. We thought this was our life, until we grew old enough to face the facts; club penguin was dead. I read statistics on the internet that said ever since CP bonded itself to Disney, it had lost 1,500 players in the first week.
All video games have started to become money greedy these past few years, and out of that sea of greedy games, there is only a golden few you'll find worth the money. Memberships, in game money, and even cheap plastic figures you buy just for the code have caused games to lose its players that know when its turned rotten.
The creators think all kids are gullible and they'll waste all their money on their cheap entertainment, but OPEN YOUR EYES! Use your money on genuine things, or save it for a rainy day. The game is not going to last forever, and when the game ends, you'll look back and see how much money you wasted.
Let this be known that many games today, including Club Penguin, are dead all because of its greed.

I see where your coming from about how many people they lost because of the bond with Disney, but could it be that Club Penguin was bought by Disney, because of the pre-owners lack of funding? I don'k know if I just grew up or If I don't like CP anymore. Since Disney bought CP everything you want to do on CP you need to be a memeber if not you need to stick with the same things over and over again (it gets tired). I though Disney made enough money with all the parks they have why make more money? (Reasons they should have) Anyways, I'm only waiting for a new mission to see if I get into CP again. Holiday parties should be holidays parties and that's it there is no reason to mess things up...I don't know what Disney was thinking but what they did was not good. (We also need to accept they have done good thigs like new languages for other nationalities to try it out) BTW, Disney also makes money from TOONTOWN

Club penguin is good but what I think its just another way for disney to be rich.Like common they put codes in toys just so kids gets a code and get 2 bits of clothes on it. Also notepads? a pink puffle notepad its just the same as a normal one but disney just change it so they get more money. If im being honest disney proberly dont care about cp that much. Webosaurs lets kids that are not members decorate thier homes and waree clothes whilsts club penguin put the same free items all the time for non members they dont care about non members and let them do nothing. So i say club penguin is just another way for disney to get money.

I actually only go on there if something interesting is happening. Between the parties it can get a bit boring. I mean what can you do once you have done everything. It also annoys me that you play games and get money which you can't even spend if you are not a member. However I am glad that the new mission is coming out finally and I am looking forward to playing ir.
Yeah, I really think Disney ruined Club Penguin. All the fail points are completely true. Before Disney ruined it, they did have a lot more free items, and they had these great traditional parties. I hate how they've done these things and maybe wish they didn't buy Club Penguin in the first place. They got rid of these traditional parties without even having a poll - without asking the people who play on CP whether they should get rid of them. Extremely unfair! I think maybe CPG could ask Club Penguin to ATLEAST have a poll about this issue. I asked them and they didn't listen. Anyway, thanks so much CPG for bringing up this issue, it's the only CP site I know of which did!

Yeah, I agree with all your points. I was like, 8 or 9 when I first learned about Club Penguin. I was a non-member for a while and it was fun. Eventually, I turned into a member like right after Disney bought it because the were making everything member only. I'm about twelve now, and I don't go on Club Penguin much because Disney made it not fun.

I have played CP for 1463 days. Before CP got sold it was the best. Now it is old. Nothing new that is cool comes for nonmembers. I was a member then when it expired. I figured why pay? For like example The Medieval Party: They always give out the SAME free item for non members. At least give out a old member item like the Wizards Costume (I have that). Its just not fair for the little ones.
P.S. CP! If you are reading this, You better do something quick... Or else. Because if you make that Red and black pirate shirt go on free items again you goin down! Becuz That is my only proof of showing how old I am!

About 5 months ago I made some seggestions like TOAST, CLUBIX CUBE (rubix cube), and also some other Free Penguin items in the Catologs and more puffles they only gave 2 so i think the original owner should have it back

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Those babies get on my NERVES. It would be ok if they didn't act so weird and werent always yellow! Seriously! And when ever I started club penguin (750 days ago) I got like 2 free items (red,black stripe shirt and white pirate hat) Because I think it was a pirate party or soemthing? Well anyway, my point is, is that they had 2 back then but now 0 because WE GET THE SAME THANG! sorry if i hurt you ears..

well iwasnt on it before it was owned by disney but by the look of the comments it seemed alot better i remember when it was awsome and now most of the time i just go on it so i can check if there is new stuff so kinda epic fail.
I am gonna copy all your comments and email cp about this. I email them once but it was only me and they replied like this (and I emailed them about the babies, protest about old cp yet they said this):

Yeah lately Rockhopper hasn't come back. usually he comes every month.
I loved the old music but now we get music that sounds plain. What happened to the old style dance remix music :/.
cp gets very boring when there isnt any parties or free items! so i dont use it now i just keep checkin this website to see if anything new is happening on cp

Well lets have a complete analysis of cp:
Graphics: They are ok, just too cartoonerficic. 7/10
Community: Very boring, everyone is immature, and there is this membership package which is far too expensive. There are far too many member only rooms.

items at shop: Far too many member items, can hardly buy anything.
2/10
Games: Theres not much to play, all the games are very boring!
4.234/10
Missions: I don't really think there should be missions, because the missions are old, and it is not what is happening to club penguin today. Again you have to be a member to get all the spy gadgets in order to go on unneccesary missions.

Overall:
I think club penguin is a completely boring game with fairly ok graphics, fsr too many member only places during parties, not very much to buy for a non member, and not to mention our houses. They concentrate on money. Thats all they think about. The games get very boring after a while of playing, and the missions are unneccesary because thats not happening to club penguin right now, and it just doesnt seem right

Its awesome. The only thing i just hate about it is...no non-member items you can buy! Disney says they need to make money 'n stuff. But I've seen other virtual worlds that let non-members actually buy stuff in the catalog. So, cp = epic fail & epic win (but more epic fail)...

The best game ever. I dont care if there are delayed missions or onlye member stuff, as long as i have fun.

I think cp made it worse, in regards to the elimination of the holiday parties.

If you ask me I think that Club Penguin rotates, because its the same parties every year no new ideas the only real new things and the items and the missions!

It is as boring as Moshi Monsters! (And I rate Moshi monsters 1 out of one million.) No offense, Billybob, but Mimo's right. You need to wake up and get more free items. And I used to read the news thing every Thursday afternoon, but it got too boring. And Disney is a bit too childish. You're welcome!

i think if cp and disney dont listen to these comments we should all go on strike from the site and no1 buy the membership or go online for at least a month and if disney dont pay attention still just abandon the site completely!

well i agree with every one that said Disney ruined it. I like Disney yet they ruined the game.....i used to get on every single day yet now i only get on once a week if that. Even though I am a member I haven't always been and when I wasn't a member things didn't seem very fair. Now there is all of this MEMBERS ONLY stuff that goes on and i just dont think that's right.

I miss the parties. and how the year before that last halloween dojo with the thunder and everything! it was a shelter and it was fun, but now.. it's not like that. and plus remember the 2008 music jam? the dojo was decorated. but still cp is one of the best!

hey mimo and all others using your help i sent cp a letter and soon their gonna hopefully reply to my concerns and stop making partys and getting money instead working on missions and new cool non member stuff only
I stopped going on Club Penguin, because I well, changed. I was never here before Disney bought it. So, I'll take people's word for it and say it's gotten worse...
All old stuff... now free items are not new. I don't get new things every month any more(except pins). Who cares if parties are religious? It's fun! and besides, who doesn't celebrate the "religious" parties?
I can't afford to be a member and right now all things go to members. What they do for us is nice but- at least do something better. What happened to the hunts, the fun stuff that everybody could do?
Well I joined when missions were pretty "gapped."
If missions came out every 4 months or so.....

Actually, you have to pay for toontown, and you can choose to pay for pirates of the Caribbean online..............
