Well I started July 2006 (i was 7 years when i started) and i liked it then, even if i wasnt memmber, 2008 i become member for the first time it was a little bit funnier than non-member but 2009 it was really boring for the non-members, the only free items u got was hats and everything BECAME TO MUCH! especially 2010, i want the old stuff and old club penguin and old newspaper, and old funny parties like water party and old EVERYTHING
and then i stoped with cp summer 2010 but then i came back now in december just becaouse i love the christmas party but it SUCKS NOW!!!
SO BORING! ITS EVEN MORE BORING THAN BEING NON-MEMBER BEFORE DISNEY BOUGHT CLUBPENGUIN!

Yes, I sort of do. My penguin is over 1200 years old. I joined in '07 and I was a non-member. I had so much more fun, and had many great friends, many great memories. Now I really don't have a great time anymore. Now Club Penguin is mostly about dating people you don't even know. There is no fun to share between friends. No memories to be made. I miss the simpler times...

Its REALLY slow due to too many penguins. i'd like it if they added games instead of decorations...
I forgot to tell you about the annoying bay bees/pookies in the pet shop. We don't need the recycling plant and the community garden! It's like from Disney's Friends for Change! I want the sport shop back, too! In old CP, they didn't have member parties often. I want Rocketsnail back! Then we can have better items, better parties, better music, and yeah! By the way, my penguin was 1525 days old when this comment was typed.
The Old times, wow. Yeah, I agree. And its getting more more members stuff, so to me, as a non-member it is starting to get boring, maybe because I am growing up, but I think mostly its because it is getting more member rooms, and activities, and then yeh, old times were nice.
And I really really, really, miss the big Awesome Missions!!!

I agree with what everyone said about cp but some of you havent realised some things you guys havent spotted and here they are
1. Stamps- the only reason why cp made stamps is for you to play the games so they can get more money I mean lets face it , b4 stamps came out nobody played these mini games but now everyone are, also they do it for bragging rights.
2. Girlfriends- All these girls dress up as cheerleaders and also pretend they have iphones. After you had a 'date'and you login to a server and then click their playercard you see that they are dressed up as bay bees.
3. Non members rooms- have you noticed when there like 15 non members trying to get in a room and ur a member you can easily access a full room and every time there is a popular penguin eg. Rockhopper you cannot see any non members because cp wont nons enter full rooms.

Us members have the same problem, CP isn't excluding non-members when Rockhopper comes. Im a member, and a lot of the time I can't access the room.

Anyways... it's too much. I think Disney just thinks that because they have all of this money that they can do all of this stuff and everyone will enjoy it. Honestly though, this much stuff is just annoying.

i have been on club penguin since the day it opened
i loved the old times and i loved the simple rooms and the simple and quitet, but fun parties then i went off it for a while because it got WAY TOO CROUDED!!i was off it for like a month!!! i hate the new newspaper and i don't like the way everthing is new because you get used to all the old stuff and it is boring now. It needs to ct out on all of the decorations and the partied EVERY SINGLE MONTH. It gets boring and at first you love parties when they come out but every month =/ BORING

It is too much Mimo I liked it when the wigs and clothes were seprate catalogs and I hate that all we had was the newspaper but now they had to change it all up and the Christmas party is so crowed or any kind of party its just to much,i know I am a member but its not fair when I wasent a member and now even worst non-members cant play much game levels whats next all of clubpenguin is member member member,I just want the old clubpenguin Iknow Diseny is trying to improve it more but its just not clubpenguin anymore I want the old one.Sometimes I can never go on because it is so busy.I JUST WANT THE OLD CLUBPENGUIN BACK!

i think it is way to much member stuff. i wasnt part of old cp but i know that being a member wASnt anything that special. yeah you got a couple things but now its drawn more to spending money than meeting friends, having parties, having a great time. ive heard rumors about what cp will b like in the future and it is so far happening. we should enjoy it while we can now cause soon cp will be members only!

ok this is what i hate about new cp
1 new newspaper
2 to many member only
3 new gojo
4 stamps(i hate these. i earn them but so many are member only)
5 what they did to the games. (some non members will become members but then they cant earn money)
6 parties are just all wrong
7 the free stuff is getting worse
8 all the dojo new stuff
ok i also must mention that i got the first ds game(it was boring) and now they changed it so if u had it u cant do anything with it. its such a waste of money!!!!! i wasted about $20 on a game i cant use anymore.

I am also over 1000 days old on club penguin and i also liked the old days. where u didn't have to pay for membership to finish a game, when EPF never existed( i mean online), and when like you can go on CP and find something new. nowadays... all they care about now is the MONEY!!! not the children.

I remember, when penguin storm was working, i used have two penguin storms open and i would go on them at the same time when someone said that they found rockhopper, but on one penguin storm i logged in as a member and on the second one i logged in as a non.
My member penguin got in the room like in 4 attempts and met rockhopper
But my non could not get in, I tried to get in like 20 times!! And soon rockhopper said bye
So it is true that cp do let members have an easier time getting in a full room compared to nons.
cp is to much there having parties like every month it was much better in 2006 when i started

I agree mimo. CP is just getting too complicated. Newspaper is worse too! Disney has made it terrible in some ways; but great in others. EG:
Great= Stamps!
Bad= Too complex
Great= New parties and new stuff
Bad= Everything's for members nowadays. My non-member sister can't even play the 2nd level of Jetpack adventure! That's just really bad.

Sometimes I think IM getting to old for CP cos IM 10 and going up to HS next yr (I live in Scotland so its different)
CP is too famous. I used to play back in 07 when it was quiet, you could roleplay, have more fun than now. But all the rooms are full all the time, The parties have less DECO, It lags a lil bit more, There are so many more bad glitches and new partys? I think not.
Hey Mimo! I think Disney is just in it for the money. I think coins for change is nice, but I bet they're going to try to keep some of that money. Jet Pack Adventure, Thin Ice, Astro Bariier, and Puffle Rescue are member games! What's up with that? Also, some ROOMS are members only. Now they are starting to make member only parties and background? Not fair! Remember when everybody had fun at the old water party, music jam, camping party? They had body items for non member! Now all disney gives out for non members are some lame hats. It's as if they only want money. Money, or you can't play.
I still like it, but a lot of people abuse it. They do really disgusting and disturbing things with other penguins and it is against the rules. Way back in 2005 when I joined none of that ever happened. Now there are tons of people in the town etheir screaming about "freedom" or looking to get involved with another penguin. It is sick when you think about it. I do miss old CP, but I don't mind the new CP.
I think clubpenguin has gone to far when they made a recycling plant and community garden, because now at parties the mine or the pool never gets decorated :(

The EPF misions are upsetting it takes two minutes and no thought but before you accutually needed to think. There are babies in the PET shop! I Like card Jitsu but the regular dojo was so much fun and so secret. The ice rink has changed to a sporting event type of place, and half the time its not even an ice rink.
Old Cp:
Parties were every week, pins were much better, music was awesome, furniture was great, clothing actually looked good.

Sooooo many games are now for members only!! Club Penguin just likes the money. If they are trying to even it out, Club Penguin is doing a bad job. The problem is if they have a lot of stuff for everybody, the members feel like they are not getting special treatment for their money. If everything is for members only, the non-members won't get to do anything. Club Penguin is better off with no membership stuff at all. They just want the money.

YES i started playing when it first came out my friend told me about it a few days after the beta party. I miss it soo much. I can never chat with people anymore, and everything is just so complicated and complex. I have not officialy quit but I can say I rarely play it.
All this is OK but what i really miss is when everything in cp was for everyone and not only for members.

I'm so tired of CP! I miss when being a member just meant getting cool clothes and furniture--I miss the days when that was enough and you didn't need secret dojo keys or balloon rides! I've pretty much stopped playing CP now after more than 3 years (2 years of membership) because it just isn't worth it. Believe it or not, it was much more fun when it was simpler. You could use your imagination. Now, there's no room.

I liked Club Penguin back in the old days. I liked when there was a lot of glitches, and everybody was actually FREE. They made a lot of stuff member's only now to rob everybody $5.95 every month. The only thing I have when Club Penguin was free is the Club Penguin Official Guide: Volume 1. I remember the good music in the Lighthouse in 2008. Now I have to hear member's electric guitars all the time. I liked when there was a lot of good stuff in the Penguin Style catalog, like the MP3000. Now, somebody hacked my account and now I have a Hannah Montana dress in my inventory. I remember when there was good hiding spaces in Club Penguin. One time, this girl was chasing me down to the Pizza Parlor, so I went in, and went into that sack of pizza dough on the bottom-left corner. The girl had NO idea I was there. Now, you actually have to be visible due to safety reasons. Which in other words, means that you can't go there anymore. So right now, I'm typing up another replacement guide for me on Microsoft Word. So in shorter words, I'll say this: Club Penguin should be simple and stay simple.

Dear Mimo. I love ClubPenguin. It is definetely a BoredomBuster for me. But I am getting a renual of my MemberShip soon and I am really excited, but I am a non member at the moment, and it is less fun.

ive been on club penguin since november 2005. at least then non members were allowed to WALK. (waddle) I guess members SHOULD get more cause they pay CP but let non members have SOMETHING. man.
i think cp should ADD MORE things for members and not ELIMINATE things for nons. What cp are doing is to make the members feel lucky that they get play games while nons cant.
Cp should stop being lazy (e.g newspape0 and DO more things for members NOT just eliminate things that are for nons and members

I think in my honest opinion, that Club Penguin and Disney, so to say, are just trying too hard. I think that they should focus on making more in depth games, unlike those boring and repeating field ops mini games. I remember the old times, when Miniclip was the owner, that's when it was all good, and simple. I mean the whole membership thing with Disney has just got to stop. I keep on seeing "Become a Member!" signs here and there. I still think it's a good 'timewaster' and slightly less entertaining than before. But, I'd have to say, it is too much.
I don't think it's too much and here's why. Everyone has a different gaming style, some people are really good at rhythm games, so the dance game is good for them. Some people are good at the Pizza game, ect. So it's great that there are so many different ways for penguins to earn coins.
ok, I agree with a lot of people, here.
What I think is good about the new CP is, well,
1. The stamps. They are pretty cool and I like collecting them and the stamp book allows people to look at your pins and thats cool.
2. Card Jitsu. That was a big thing for me.
3. The Stadium. That was awesome, but it became boring after a while.
4. EPF. well, its not that great cause they are taking AGES to get some sort of enemy shown up...but its still cool.
Onto the bad points...there is a lot of this.
I miss old CP and I really miss the HQ missions, they were awesome!!!! except...they did have to update a few things like the map...
Anyway, the bad things.
1. THE NEWSPAPER. I agreed with someone out there who said that they're 'saving paper' DUH CP is virtual, and the scrolly things are so hard to use!! I mean, the computer lags a lot and when you scroll it really lags. and I want the fan art on again and the games!!!
The 'NEWSFLASH' thing is horrible too...its just a little square to the side of the thing, i mean seriously!
2. I also hate how non-members have nothing to do. Well, I am a non-member, and its SOOOOO boring when you can't do anything except play games.
3. Someone also mentioned how non-members earn coins when they have nothing to spend it on!!! I totally agree, I have a huge pile of coins which I don't do anything with...
4. Here is the bad thing about stamps. They got rid of all the LEVELS in the games!!! Like, I used to have so much fun playing thin ice and astro barrier, but now its SOOO boring.
5. I also think it IS too much. Look at the extension of the mine and the Recycling plant for example. Sure, they are great hiding places for hide and seek, but no one DOES anything in them!!!
6. The christmas party this year was worse than any other I've been to. It was just really boring! The only thing that was changed was the sleigh thing that only members could get to.
7. The amount of servers is ridiculous. We don't need that much people!
I'm 11 now, and last year I actually stopped playing CP, but now sometimes I go on to play games and also to do EPF stuff and go get stuff at the parties. But that's really it.

Before club penguin was awesome. Non members and members were really friendly.ilove old club penguin.
Oh the old days,where there was no stage,there were the original coloured puffles,and there were no member party rooms(I think).I think this is Disney's fault(but I love Disney don't get me wrong)that all these new things are popping up every month(or so).LET'S START A PETITION TO CP TO CHANGE THINGS BACK! =D

Well, The hannah montana outfit was in the july 2009 catalog. It was also on the front cover of it!!
When i looked at this catalog, people were saying that this was a hannah montana outfit and after looking at it for 2 mins, i started to realise it was!!
Disney SHOULD NOT put things from their tv shows and into club penguin.

I think the main problem is that there are far too many people. I like the new clubpenguin but there is too much lag, and i think their going overboard with all the puffle colours. I joined during the festival of snow and back then it was awesome! They can't add too much more as there is already too many rooms and games.

I spotted something funny. Things have started getting too much AFTER disney bought clubpenguin. Disney dont really care about us having fun on clubpenguin, they care about making money from people subscribing to membership. Most things are for members now. Hmmmmm.....maybe I could use my time machine--I mean maybe I could persuade them to make more things for non-members (wow that was close). Well see ya later!!
When the PSA blew up it was too much, sadly I'm thinking about quitting CP.
Well, I have gotten used to all the nubs on club penguin and the dating. I have been around since disney decided to join club penguin just to work.
I hate the following things:
Babies
Dating
Cheerleading
Sonic fan girls/boys
When annoying new non members add you for no apperant reason
Random boys/girls coming up to you and giving you hearts
Freedom
For every single party non members get plain old hats now.
Thats all the awful things.
CP really IS too much! I can remeber day like the fiesta party and the Halloween Party of '06. My penguin being 1517 days old I miss the simpler days of CP. It's ridiculous how I can't get into a server anymore without waiting 5 minutes! Disney really has RUINED CP with this "eco-friendly" newspaper, the big parties that never change, and all tthe new stuff is sad. I will go on CP and protest to bring back Old CP all the time and I wear all my old clothes. Disney is really trying too hard to make CP "fun" when all tey're doing is making it WORSE! I miss missions, the PSA, no Coin Codes or Toys, and when everything was free. And now the "free" items are mostly for MEMBERS ONLY like everything else in CP. Even the games are for members only. Pretty much, all Disney cares about is getting CP full and making money. Soon, CP is going to be a member onl virtual world. Also, if you think the Coins for Change money all goes to donation your wrong cause Disney takes like 1/4. Sorry for the really long comment but Disney has ruined CP for all of life and took everything from Old CP away.

i agree 100 percent. even thought the new clubpenguin have some good things and good ideas, it has changed a lot. the old days were simpler and funner. sadly now if your not a member it not as fun :/ i remember i used to like being a nonmember because i actually could pla ythe games and get most things but now im limited so much its not as fun .

Well I have been on club penguin for three years now and i think its too much... I miss everything that happened back then because the stamps, the feild ops, and everything else is too much now.
I have been on CP for bout 5 years. I do miss the old times but the thing that is too much is the whiney penguins who complain and yell for old CP. The fact is more than half of them have never lived on Old CP before so they don't know what it's like. All they do is talk about suing Disney. THAT is what's too much!

omg my old penguin (lily 8451) i got the day cp started! so i had a beta hat and everything but i lost it. i got another one in '08 (Millie 8451) which is 1007 days old and cp has been RUINED by moneybags disney :( it was fair and non members got cool stuff like t shirts and shoes. now they just get crud like backgrounds and ridiculous hand items. why cant miniclip own cp again and not stupid old disney
now club penguin sucks! its just too popular i dont play it anymore
