Now in April, Club Penguin had about 2.2 million!

I think people got banned. Club Penguin's saftey has got worse and there are alot of bullies out there. Three of my friends got banned yesterday so yeah, I think everyone is getting banned.
One reason is that maybe because in January, It was school holidays in Australia and maybe people dont have as much time when its school.
I also think penguins are quitting because it can sometimes get boring and maybe their getting older and are finding new games to play.
I referred nine people to CP. They all joined after I convinced them too. There should be rewards for referring friends.
cp is awful anyway no one cares about it it use to be fun but now it boring for non members anyway and its simple to hack very easy

here are some points on which cp can do to make the magic come alive once more... (sorry, long comment ahead)
1) penguins who used to be members
SHOULD USE THEIR MEMBERS STUFF (excuse caps)
2) bring back the old parties
3) have less member rooms, make rooms for non-members only and actually make penguins do stuff (the puffles do more stuff than us! like eating and sleeping etc.)
4) only members should have access to the catalogs as only they can use them (apart from the flags/backgrounds which us non-members can use, big deal tho)
5) make cp a bigger community and sell merch that people WANT TO BUY and are able to buy
6) actually use our ideas we send in, i like sent in ten ideas last year that they could use, they said they would yet they failed me
7) let players in other countries have access to payment that they can actually pay
8) broaden the age range, they should have multiple worlds for teenagers and kids, the same plan but have to be older and there could be night clubs and stuff and make the filter less picky
9) members should turn non-member for like a day every month or so, so that everyone can be alike for once
we need to give cp a break, even if they are in a whole lotta trouble right now, ITS ALL DISNEYS FAULT (caps again :L) we are not babies, and we want items that are actually impressive, not a belt or some clogs, we want out dignity back!

Hi, well I think that players have left because some people find it a bit boring and they keep on putting out old free items in the parties,which is pretty boring if you have already got them.
Some players have left because they have got too old for Club penguin or they have just got bored.
But some players like me, leave for a bit and come back when more exciting things are happening, like for example,EPF or new parties and stuff like that. But I think Club Penguin should put the old parties back.

Thats terrible!! I didn't think they'd lose that much... I think its probably because they've cancelled all the 'religious' parties. Its a kids game, they don't mind what religion the stuff like Easter and Christmas is!! I think they should bring back the old parties!!

Guys, the reason why so much new stuff wasn't coming out was because they working on a new room, a new DS game, and a new mission that they had to do twice. Not only that, it takes three to six months to program all of this! Just stop complaining that you aren't getting what you want when you want it! If you stop and look around, you find that there are so many cool things to do! Club Penguin used to not need a lot of parties because their "faithful" penguins would make their own! I think that's always a cool thing!
Secondly, if you don't buy anything from CP, don't expect anything new in a while. Everything in this economy takes money. CP needs money to do more stuff. More memberships means more good stuff! Then, CP will get more money from Disney if they meet their second achievements! AND THEN, more good stuff will come out!

i have two reasons, number 1, lots of the people that used to play it have grown out of it and number two, they have cancelled all the good partays!
THEY'RE CANCELLING THE AWESOME PARTIES! And, I'm always a member, but there is a lot of member stuff. I feel sorry for the non-members. And, Disney just totally mauled CP. Stupid new parties, stupid (REAAAALLLLYYY STUPID) new rooms, and they ban for no reason. It's not like other people can see you curse, I mean I've never been banned, but still. And I just hate Disney, Movies, Channel, What they did to CP. But if people quit, they don't make money. It's either Disney gets out because they're not making any money, or CP ends. But, also, they had stupid Madison Pettis and that other kid promote it. Then little kids were going "OH MY FAVORITE STAR PLAYS CLUB PENGUIN!" (No, I doubt they really actually do.) So, Disney, just butt out and leave CP be. More isn't always better. Less Is MORE!

ok my theory is that because of americas bad economy, they have to do alot of members stuff so ppl become members and disney can make money off of the little website they own. some ppl dont see how they have to make it awesome for members so that disney gets money. and its not like all the ppl leave because of that. i bet if u took ten ppl that left and asked them y, some ppl would say that 1 cp is childish 2 my mom banned me from computer, and i realized i like ds better 3 i feel it is unfair to be a nonmember, and so many other reasons.

There are less penguins but most of them are members! So i think that the non-members penguins left or bought a member ship (like i did)! OK i am going to say this once and only once I HATE DISNEY FIRST OF ALL THEY TOOK ALL THE GOOD PARTIES! Also, another reason people probably quit is that it is getting to repeative. I mean, I was hoping we would get a different party In May, but we got the Medieval party again (But it was still great). Not to mention the fact I was expecting there to be a Water Party this month, but The Adventure Party is coming back instead (Although, the final mission in Herbert's Revenge hints that there may be a Water Party sometime this summer). And to be honest, I haven't been impressed with most of the parties this year so far (Except for the Play Awards, and Medieval Party). :/ Plus, we can't really meet famous penguins anymore and there hasn't been a new one we can meet in ages. Those are just my thoughts on why People quit though.

I think it is for two reasons.
1)People quit because of AGE. The kids that got really into it and really liked it all realized they were getting to old and had to move on.
2) People quit because of membership. Kids posibly started realizing that paying 9 dollars a month (30 for 6 months) so your invisible penguin with invisible clothing can visit an invisible world and show off their invisible house and their invisible furntinture..you get the idea. Kids realized that it would be cheaper to just buy a video game instead of paying 30 dollars to get invisible tihngs. It's just not worth it. :/
I think clubpenguin would be smart to make EVERYONE members. Maybe to keep players on, if you log on for 31 days (not in a row but just 31 days so people would have to come back) you will become a member. Now that everyones a member, HOW WILL THEY MAKE PROFIT!? :0 Well if everyone was a member, then there would be alot more people playing Clubpenguin, and alot more money to spend on merchandise. Make the coin codes only able to unlcok exclusive items (maybe even rooms) and the DS games (the more expensive of the merchandise) can unlock a new room, 2 exclusive items, and a special EPF/HQ Igloo theme. THAT is how they could, and should fix clubpenguin. Everyones treated fairly, while clubpenguin is still making income on people wanting to stand out.

Most of the penguins that quit playing cp is because of the membership. I think your idea is COOL! But you can say that it will be a really big new non-members & members room.

I'd say so many people are quitting because of all the member-only stuff. That's really bugging me.
Also, the people who joined when Club Penguin first started are getting older and don't play it anymore.
There's also lots of competition from other multi-player websites nowadays, unlike in the past.

Actually, Club Penguin also has lost 7,000,000 (7 million) visits (not unique visits or players) from January to March, but from March to April they gained 2,000,000 (2 million) visits, not players, totaling to 5 million visits lost.
Most of these visitors probably have penguins, but I cannot be sure.
Another thing:
If you minus the Unique Visitors from the normal Visitors (counting return visits), it's from 17mil January to 12mil on March, then 13mil on April.
Since these are returning visitors, most probably have penguins. So I guess you could average than Club Penguin lost... almost 5 million penguins (Jan-Mar), then gained 1 million on April?
Correct me if my calculations are incorrect, because this doesn't sound realistic to me.

The majority of users in Club Penguin are in Club Penguin Armies, with the recent bannings of Club Penguin Army Troops, made by CP moderators, many users will leave or simply be banned forever by the mods in CP.

I guess I'm one of those million penguins. It's just that...Club Penguin doesn't seem fun anymore. I used to love it and go on all the time, but I don't play that much anymore. I go on sometimes to see what's happened and all, but when I do, there's usually nothing or the party passed. I forgot to go to the Medieval (if I spelled it wrong, sorry) Party. If Club Penguin wants to succeed, they need some help. Well. BYE!
Well, personally i played this game for 4 years now and about 2 & 1/2 of the years i was a non-member….But at that time they didn’t have as much member things. Anyways, i think that they are losing lots of penguins, because of several reasons. Here’s a few:
1) Lame parties? Some people think their parties are getting worse, though i think their improving, i mean the medieval party was awesome!
2) Boring? With only one party a month, (that the best things are for members) no missions (there wasn’t for a long time and the new one was a bit of a disappointment) some penguins (especially non-members) find it boring. This brings me to my next point.
3) Too much member items? I am a member, but some of the non-members feel left out. I mean they might as well miss parties, because the "everyone" free item is old and lots of people have it. In the medieval party, there were basically 2 member only rooms!
4) Players are ruining club penguin? Well, some of the older players are going because the younger players are taking over the pet shop and turning it into an adoption centre, while the older players are act just plain wrong! I mean once I heard someone said “say I if your good”; they are also virtually violent, verbally and aggressively. But, they change the word a bit, like saying "bunches" instead of punches or “gives k” or something like that. Which is basically breaking club penguin rules but no it’s not technically breaking them.
And finally
5) No more special penguins? This kind of relates to the party one. In the older parties, like before January, in basically every party was a "special penguin" (Aunt Artic, Rockhopper, Candice e.c.t) and every party with the special penguins, cub penguin was PACKED, because members and non-members could get their exclusive background.
There are some things they are improving though the missions (finally) and the penguin style and better igloos. Anyways, those were my theories of WHY club penguin is losing penguins. This is what we cad club penguin can do to gain more players:
EVERYONE: can suggest to friends, family, classmates and anyone else. Get people to recognise club penguin. Add a banner to your website; give someone a membership for their birthday, basically anything to get club penguin players.
MIMO: well Mimo, I think u can maybe hold a contest that if u get lots of people (that aren’t already on club penguin) to join club penguin. Or raffle Herbert’s revenge (the new game) for one lucky person that joins or something.
CLUBPENGUIN: well, they can do quite a few things to help their improvement. For starters, get better security! NOT just computers. An actual person that can judge if someone said a typo or a “bad” word that is spelled wrong purposely. Make it more fun for non-members. Basically, please change BEFORE penguins will have to permanently log off.

Disney ruined Club Penguin.... All they want is to take our money and turn it into cheap souvenirs and attractions for their parks. All this member junk is driving all their 'customers' away and cancelling parties is driving them further... If Disney can't get that message, then Club Penguin will be dead before we know it... :(

I think that since disney owned club penguin it was less about the customer satisfaction and more about the money. But when the recession started they had to raise the prices but when the game was already some raised prices in the beginning the team went a little overboard and non members were feeling left out and upset that all they could was play mini games and talk.
I'm with fat ninja. Disney has decided to make everything for members so they can expand their company. The game now is all about a disney fundraiser. Now non members are getting rebellious. And they are right. To many things are for members. I'm a member but if the game doesn't improve a lot by when my membership expires I won't buy.

What you said is true but why'd you have to bring Disney stars, channels, movies into this? That makes no sense. I love disney, but what they've done to cp is wrong. Everything is cool about disney except for the fact the are acting wrong to the games... Before you know it, their gonna start making you pay to watch the new movies. But you get my idea.

I think thats the problem children do not like that too many members room and most of penguins are non-mebers maybe that penguins are tires of being ignore I am a non-member but I like it but I think to solve this they should stop putting a lot of memebers room maybe some but not a lot bye bye mimo!

i think so many people quit clubpenquin because almost every body on clubpenquin is a member and their are very few that arent and it is not fair!! even thouqh i am a member i am speakinq up for non-members because i was one of them too snd because most people also sometimes qet teased and because it is just not fair and not riqht. i know lots of friends who i introduced 2 clubpenquin and most of them quit because of this membership buisness!!! i think clubpenquin should do sumthinq about this!!! for example qiv some old clothes items to non-members and qiv more free items!! we should a vote about this!! thank you for readinq and i hope u understand why i feel like this about why cp has drop down penquins!

I'm one of those million,and my brother 2. Cuz during Jan me n my bro kept on waiting 4 a new mission,cuz it was the only thing that interests us 2 play CP.But no new missions came out so in the end we decided 2 quit.
Recently we had nothing 2 do so we decided 2 check back on CP.We cancelled our membership since long ago(Jan..i tink),its not worth getting membership anywayz.
I feel that ppl only go 2 CP is cuz of their missions n nothing else.
I hate the 'Green' party we had!It was so BORING!
I have been playing for a while and I got a really old item and my friends were all super jealous.
But them they brought it back again and everybody's got it now
and that's not cool peeps!

there are MANY reasons why i think clubpenguin is losinq penquins!please ecuse caps and explanation points.
1- they have to listen to us !! meaninq that they should actually listen to our comments!
2- make a non-member cataoloq it makes no sense to have a member cataloq if the non-members cant qet anythinq! put some old clothes in the non-member cataolq
3- put less member rooms!! like really!
4- make the new penquins that just joined cp have a free trial of beinq a member for a week so they can have a taste on how it feels like.
5- dont take away the member clothes when ur membership expires. its not like i walk in a store and they take away all my clothes just because my membership with them expires. its like a waste of coins that u earned!
6- thouqh i am very weathy and i have a membership i think that the membership cards are WAY to expensive! make them at leas 6.00 for a month 7.00 for 2 months and 10.00 for a year! those are more reasonable prices. the less expensive the membership cards, the more people will actually join clubpenguin, then because of this they will actually make their money!
5- make non-members actually have SOME clothes to were! i know other virtual worlds that let u were clothes even though u dont have a membership!
6- make more worlds!
7- make your igloo have rooms i mean its just borinq for non members they just have a empty house with a window!
8- make us do more actions! all we do it walk dance and sit. even the puffles do more thinqs than us! we cant even eat!
9- if you were a member for a lonq time for like a year at least give them a free one month membership for beinq a member for so lonq!
10- make their be a party evey month with a special item available to ALL players!
11- every year their are the same staqe themes it qets kind of borinq once in a while.
mimo- i think that u should send our comments to the clbpenguin comapny so that they can fix all these problems! we are tryinq to make their site better so i think that they should listen to us!

I quit CP, well, because, there's nothing to do. Only friends and some small boring parties. Tere's never something that awesome to do. Everything is the same.

i think less penguins are going on club penguin, because they do not have memberships. memberships are quite pricey. Per month is $6 and this price is so high, because disney wants to make money. they should keep the member stuff, but for less, maybe $5 a year. then, club penguin will regain all of their players. Because, even some of the oldest penguins have quit.

um the pp that left r prob old club penguin members or teens. lately club penguin has made it mostly 4 babies so they r losin teens. plus theyr canceling all the old parties and making wayyy 2 many changes. we want old cp back! :(
I bet more than 75% of those penguins weren't members.
I let go because of these reasons.
1- ts childish now -.-" i wasa member and i was not happy about everything for members. Also all u do is make money , buy clothes , and chat. Not much. If items were tradable it would help a little. If you could buy member items from other players more better income. They only make u buy clothes to look cool... CMON?!?! thas clearly much. U cant play "member games" Which i think is bad. They wanna scam little children. Mimo i would post this message if this blog was mine.

Club Penguin has gone way overboard with the members only things. Even though I'm a member, it just doesn't seem fair. But, they need money so how else are they going to do it? There are other reasons why penguins might have left, like the Disney people made Club Penguin all noobish and childish and when they say there's a 'challenge', it's really easy to beat. (Example: The Great Snow Maze) Also, they took away all the Christian parties! That's not good...

CP is losing penguin probably because,like me , they're switch to ROBLOX becuase you can build and use your creativity , member prices are expensive and non-members dont get any item, when non members do get items they're often quite useless or are bad looking.
Guys... sure clubpenguin is $6 a month... (£2.95) But Toontown is $10 a month! And its run by Disney as well! So would you rather pay for Toontown which lags ALOT because at least 7 million people play it! OR you can pay for Clubpenguin which is much much less laggier, and doesnt have too many players. Sure Clubpenguin isnt the best game ever... Im a member on Toontown but i have realised how bad it is for my computer... it lags my computer alot and one time it gave me a virus! So im quitting Toontown and getting CP back instead! Sure they have too many member rooms, Too many member items... But they have all that to inspire people to become members so they can make even more money so they can keep Toontown, Clubpenguin, and pirates of the carribean running! They need YOUR help to keep them going! If only a couple of 1000 of people played these games and not many people went to the parks... then Disney would have to close down! So they need YOUR help to keep running! And EVERY YEAR FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS THEY HAVE DIVIDED $1,000,000 OF THEIR OWN MONEY UP TO BE GIVEN TO DIFFERENT CHARITIES! YOU GOTTA CUT THESE GUYS SOME SLACK! THEY HAVE OTHER THINGS TO WORK ON TOO YOU KNOW!

i agree w/anoymous. they should make a cat-o-log where members cant buy stuff! and they should bring back old items from parties i never went to. i was obsessed w/club penguin last year, but then i heard about all of these cool parties that have happened in the past. the old parties had cool items that they will probably never show again. i have also heard about the camp party and i have been waiting but they wont have it again! i am so sick and tired of all of the member only parties! remember the waddle-on-dance-a-thon? i couldnt go in the night club! i was a member bfore on my other account, but then it expired. they should let penguins use their old member stuff even if they arent a member anymore! i just recently started club penguin again. (last time i played was december. i didnt feel like going to the christmas party, and then i didnt play.) there is a new game called puffle rescue, but i cant some of it! and also, the recent party, there was soooo much members only rooms! i will probably never see them! and its like the only new items for non-members r hats now!
