parents can get so over protective! My parents DONT monitor everything I do! The only time they want to know what im doing is when im suscribing to another website. Im a member, and when i wasnt, I never got teased. When i say this, im talking about sertain penguins. Some nons are really annoying. They bug us to become their friend to look at our igloo, and see what clothes we have. REMEMBER! TALKING ABOUT SERTAIN PENGUINS!
I have alot of nons on my friends list, and I respect them.
For my membership, I go to Wal-mart and buy a 1 month membership every month. Its less money all at once. only 6 dollars.

A. YES!! In order for you to do one thing you have to buy another thing whether it is with real money or coins. In order for you to go into one room, you have to be a member. In order for you to get into the fire jistu room, you have to be a member AND you have to buy that pendant thing.
(4) Do you think you can be cool without a membership?
A. Yeah, but it is a lot harder if you are a non because you have to always get the FREE clothes. I have to admit that when I first joined there were more FREE items for everyone; there were not these member only FREE clothes, member only rooms, member only games. ALL IN ALL CLUB PENGUIN HAS GONE DOWN HILL A LOT!!!!! I find myself more bored everyday on Club Penguin.
(5) Have you ever been teased because you don't have a membership?
A. I think the only reason people don't bother me is because I wear really old clothes that aren't FREE anymore and I wear a really old pin AND I am 1,090 days old. If I was new to Club Penguin, which I am NOT, I could see myself being bullied.

Well, I'm old enough to take care of myself on the internet, but my parent knows I use social networking sites, and I never do anything unsafe online.
But, I don't recall being teased for being a non-member, as most of the time I'm a member. LOL, I gave in to consumerism! Joke, but I do treat non-members and members equally.
By the way, I was busy for ages again. I think I'll forget about the whole mod thing for a while.

I believe that Club Penguin is overlooked as a virtual world and many think it is a place to, as they said, "Buy, Buy, Buy." well i dont think cp is safe anymore they, like on the chat you cant say anything anymore but it still lets you say bad words and gross stuff too. But anyways... i wish membership was free and all because think about, since Disney owns club penguin now ( which i don't like ) arent they making like zillions and towns of money? why would they need more? So they should at least make club penguin free. But i don`t go on cp as much anymore because theres a lot of perverts on there and it freaks me out, and everybody is so annoying becuz they think all the crappy random weird stuff is "cool"

What is the Mom's issue? You are left out without a membership! Duh, that's why there are some. For that Mom, two solutions. 1. Yell at CP and make them stop with memberships so they go out of business. 2. Get them off CP. Not that hard. Anyway, a tween site? CP isn't just for tweens.
I read the article in that magazine over the summer. It sounded like the mom was only about the negative stuff about non-members. Non- members are cool too. If you are a member go out and make friends with a non-member. We are all penguins alike. Don't judge non-members because they are poor or can't buy stuff. Non-members are a great part to the coins for change program. They have coins that they can't spend. I'm a member and a few months ago I would die if I became friends with a non-member. But now I have hundreds of friends. Member or non-member.

Mimo, I think that this video is putting all the glory on being a member all on focus. Non-members are important too. You know everyone was a non-member once.
1.Maybe Club Penguin is putting too much stuff out there at once so that kids are on there all the time. Yes.
2.Sometimes parents are too busy to hear about what your virtual penguin or animal or even dolls are doing on the internet. Parents are more focused on what you are doing in the real world. No.
3.Club Penguin has too much stuff for members to buy. No offense to members but non-members should be able to buy stuff too. Members and non-members more want Club Penguin to keep on producing virtual clothes and furniture. CP should not. Yes.
4.Club Penugin's program Coins For Change is a great way for non-members to give. They have more coins than anyone else. You arn't all into perfecting your look or igloo, so non-members have more time to spend with friends or play games. Definately yes!
5.Some groups of members look back on their non-member days and think how bad they felt about being a non-member, well nowadays members are having even more fun with non-members, because of how the members were treated when they were just like their friends.
I think any penguin can have fun on CP.
When I was a non-member, Members liked me as who I was instead of what I wore. Now I'm a member I often (in the pet shop) adopt the non-members and I have a lot of non-member friends who I invite to my igloo, so I think this report is a load of rubbish. Even if someone is rude to you on CP, there's a button called 'report' and then a button called 'map' if you want to just run.
If you really want to have awesome member clothes, buy some toys. My sister got a Black Puffle for her Birthday and she unlocked 2 wigs, WIGS!! Seriously, the puffles are only $6, you get to unlock 2 things. Thats what I want for Christmas.
P.S. Wanna look like a member? Get your spy phone out, walk up to a members only thing and right before you enter the door (or whatever) press the teleport button on your phone, makes it look like you entered a members only room!!

First i don't think its fair that Non- members can't go in "Special" rooms just like members do i mean i get how we don't get to buy any clothes but its not fair to block a certain place just for members. I have to disagree with the "undercovermom" and her little girl. First: Clubpenguin has to be one of the most safest virtural chat places in the intire world, why do some parents believe someone is going to kidnapp us, come on people get with it. Second: The reason why we pay is because Cp need money to run their buisness, think about it, without money there can not be a clubpenguin .
Third: CLUBPENGUIN RULES, and i only agree with the teasing of non members, i dont care about nonmembers not being alowed in partys big whoop, but when i was a non member i was teased a bit, i surly dont do it now since im a member. I think Club Penguin is going way too far for becoming a member. It's not fair.
1. i play it an average of 5-7 times a week for about an hour each time. not as often as some other people i know...
2. sort of. my parents always get told everytihng fun i do, and they like to watch me play when they have the time.
3. well, i do want things like the ds game, and clothes, but not realy.
4-5. i didnt have any clothes for about 5 minutes, but thats because i joined during a party. If you just wait a while, you'll get clothes. fast. i still wear my non member fashod once and a while when i want to! of course ive got 2 or 3 years of non member clothes... but still you can have just as good a fashon as anyone else. the members dont make fun on non members either. atleast most dove. about 1 in 50,000+ that ive met do.im sure not one of them. they are probably the ones that ot their membership from their first day or something. Most of us know what its like to be a non member for a while though.
PS. i think that girl was told to say that or something. she didnt have the expressment of what she said, and it just seemed like something she memorized.

Well, I understand. Club penguin is unconsciously teaching consumerism. They make non-members think that they're not able to buy much and members think that they have to "buy, buy, BUY!" They don't keep all that money to themselves. They give part of that money to charity. Coins for change only decides how much they give and who they give it to. About the bad words, you may not know this, but they actually filter the chat. If you say certain words and you press enter, you will be able to see what you said, but others won't, so you think you're just being ignored. Then you get banned. At least, thats what I read on Wikipedia. Still, people find "clever" ways to speak profanity. They'll still get banned, probably.
PS. Two of the words in your comment is considered mean words so you might want consider before you use them in Club Penguin, okay?

What this mom says is very true and accurate. For awhile I was feeling left out, but then I bought a membership. After I had bought many memberships - and after they had all expired - I didn't have enough money to buy more, and became bored. There was nothing interesting enough to do without a membership. Yes, there are games, but how many times can you play them? For awhile club penguin was the most fun thing ever. For about a year now, I haven't played club penguin except to check up on things.

thats not a true story, they make up stuff and thats not very nice to my parents, they said that some parent should not complain and get on the news for it. She pays like three member ships for me and she said have fun. so its like buying a toy for a kid, it breaks then buying it again, you get my point??? Here lets take an exaple: Toontown- there is nothing to do when u are a non memeber, BUT toontown was a pc game before so ur like paying for a member ship then having the game. well see ya and i really have a complaint
