It's true! Caves have been found in the underground Mine on the island! Club Penguin needs diggers to help explore the caves beginning tomorrow!
It is still a mystery as to who built the Mine and there are rumors it was there before the Town and even more rumors of a golden puffle buried there. Hmm, do you think the Yeti's built the mine, or was it the golden puffle? Could orange be considered golden? I hope so!
Rory the construction penguin says he will bring some tools to help! I sure hope it is a new FREE item this time! Maybe safety goggles like the orange penguin is wearing?
Make sure you make it to the Cave Expedition this week, because the cave will be considered unsafe on closed on Jan. 28th!
I can't wait to hear all your theories about what we will find in the caves!

THAT IS SO COOL!i hope it has something to do with the new mission or puffle.
I'm unsure about this, but are those goggles worn by that penguin in the news clipping new? The orange penguin ones. Also, I'm thinking a maze, like the one ending with the knight's armour for members. Possibly non-member this time, with a free item and a full set of clothing for members. Add in a possible new area for a game, or maybe a new mission. How's that sound?

Ok, so I was just checking out the club penguin newspaper, and you know the squid that penguins have reported seeing while playing aqua grabber? Well when I was reading about the mine, the squid on the picture of the newspaper on page A5 looked identical to the one that they showed us with Herbert and the puffle. I wonder if that means something! Ok thanks for posting!
