Club Penguin Snow Sculpture Update!

Friday will start the Snow Sculpture Showcase. The Club Penguin artists have been going through all the pictures you penguins have submitted and have chosen the first 5 that will be showcased. They will be displayed in different places around the island.

Here is a sneak peek:

There will be 5 different snow sculptures each week for 3 weeks.

I didn't have time to make a sculpture, did you? I hope to see yours if you did!

Also, don't forget the Penguin Play Awards will be on Friday, too!

Club Penguin Snow Sculpture Artists Stuff!

Happy 77 has let us in on what it takes to win the Snow Sculptrure Contest! Here is her interview of one of the artists:

What do you look for in all the submissions you get? A great submission is fun, imaginative and makes us smile! But there are so many talented and creative artists playing Club Penguin that they're all making us smile!

Tell us about making sculptures from a drawing. Is it very difficult? The artist who drew it did the difficult stuff. We get to do the fun part. First we transfer the original drawing onto our computer and create a black and white version so that it kinda looks like a coloring book picture. Then we take it and make it look like it's made of ice.

If you added flavored syrup to the snow sculptures, would it make them into beautiful, yummy snow cones? Indeed it would! However, you might unintentionally upset the poor artist whose masterpiece would be inside of your belly... :)

Blah, blah, blah. Can't wait for the party tomorrow! Anyone want another eulc? ;-)

Club Penguin Snow Sculpture Showcase!

Ok, this is probably the "coolest" contest eva! Besides mine! ;-) It is so cool, it's cold! Club Penguin has been storing up snow in the Lodge Attic for quite some time and now is your chance to use it. There is a Snow Sculpture Contest. Fifteen lucky penguins will have their name and artwork showcased in snow and will receive 10,000 coins!

So make your best design and send it to: sculptures@clubpenguin.com. Now, how "cool" is that?

Think they would make a Mimo sculpture? What about a pointless one? ;-)
