Coins For Change Announcement: More Projects!

Holy moly! Over 23 billion coins have been donated through Coins For Change this year! Club Penguin was so amazed by our generosity that they are going to fund ADDITIONAL projects... over and above the projects you've unlocked!

Thanks to everyone CP in now able to:

• Help save the home of the Lowland Tapir in Brazil through Lowland Tapir Conservation Initiative
• Fund a Group Home for homeless kids and a kindergarten for kids in foster care in Ethiopia through Partners in the Horn of Africa
• Protect the home of the endangered Okapi in the Democratic Republic of Congo through Wildlife Conservation Network
• Build 3 playgrounds for over 6,000 kids who had no place to play in Afghanistan through Playground Builders
• Save the forest where the endangered Cotton Top Tamarin lives in Colombia through Wildlife Conservation Network

Every year, millions of penguins donate billions of virtual coins to show their support for real world causes. And Coins for Change is almost here!

This year, Club Penguin doing things a bit different. Take a look at what they're gonna do!

We started thinking about how the Holidays bring people together... when you work together you can make big things happen! We've decided that instead of 3 separate donation boxes, why not work together to support 10 projects! As you donate virtual coins, you'll help us unlock each project.

Club Penguin Cookies for Change!

Last week, Club Penguin's Kelowna office had a Cookie Contest & Bake Sale. They had judges pick the best holiday-themed cookies. And all the money went to awesome local charities! Pretty cool, yeah?

Every year the Club Penguin community helps us decide how we divide up a significant donation to worthy causes around the world. For this year's Coins For Change, we're giving $1 million USD! 

There will be three different causes to choose from:

• Provide Medical Help 
• Protect the Earth 
• Build Safe Places

Club Penguin Coins For Change Book!

Club Penguin asked us last month what we would like to say to kids around the world that we are helping with Coin For Change. They got so many cool answers, they decided to do something super awesome...

They are going to make a book filled with some of your comments and cool artwork! Saweet! They will then send the book to schools and libraries Club Penguin has help build with Coins for Change!

Now, we can show kids from other countries how much we care by sending our messages! Just post your comment here or you can send a picture to Club Penguin here. Your comment might get chosen for this super amazing book!
