Club Penguin Membership Price Increase!

Club Penguin is changing the price of new memberships purchased in the US and Canada for the first time ever! The new prices are: $7.95 for one month, $39.95 for 6 months and $59.95 for one year. The increase will begin on July 13th! Wowza, that's a lot!

The good news, is the price increase is just for NEW memberships! If you already have a membership that is recurring, you will get the old price as long as you stay a member! Also, if you already have a membership card with the old price, they will still work.


Club Penguin wants to justify this price jump by reminding us of all the new games, feature, special events and the fact that they have donated millions of dollars to charity to help kids around the world. They feel this will let them add even more new stuff to make Club Penguin better. 


So, do you think this price increase is justifiable? Do you think you will be less likely to be a member in the future?

Club Penguin Raises Membership Rates!

Did you catch that? Yes, many of you already complain that the price of Club Penguin memberships are too high, but now, check out the prices!

Dood! Do you think they will automatically raise your monthly rates if you are currently paying $5.95?

I sure hope not!

But, check out the Gift Certificate prices. They have not changed... yet!

Some ppl say the rates for them have not increased, and others say theirs are as high as $7.95. Yikes!
