Club Penguin's Happy77 has interviewed a brown puffle artist! Here is her interview:

Q. Tell me some cool facts about the brown puffle!
A: Well, I'm sure you've noticed brown puffles love to invent stuff. Their inventions don't always work too well, but that doesn't stop them.
Brown puffles are very smart and focused, and like to observe the world around them. They're always looking for new ideas.

Q. I like the brown puffle's goggles. Why do they wear them?
A: It's always 'safety first' with brown puffles. They even wear goggles when they eat and sleep!

Q. Do brown puffles have anything to do with Protobot?
A: Hmm... I'm not sure. Brown puffles do like machines...

Q. My brown puffle ran away! How do I adopt another one?
A: Sorry to hear that! In February you'll be able to adopt another brown puffle in the Pet Shop. We just need enough of them to follow us out of the wild.

Awesome! Once again, no answers about whether or not the brown puffle has helped build the Protobot!

It cracks me up that a puffle has a 'safety first' motto! lol

Club Penguin Brown Puffle Cave Shortcut!

Saweet! Are you getting tired of having to complete all the Club Penguin puzzles just to get to the Brown Puffle Cave?

Well, now you don't have to! Just go to the Cove and hop on the boat! NO lifejacket even needed this time!

Now, you have to have done the puzzles before. Non members can not even see the boat at the Cove. Soz!

Are you glad Club Penguin has given us this short cut? Sure makes it easier, doesn't it? (Thanks, alisufi48)

UPDATE: Here is another short cut. If you don't mind going through the Wilderness, when you get to the Cliff, you can click the red button and then throw a snowball at the target. This is definitely not as quick as going to the Cove, but it is a bit of a short cut.

Club Penguin Removes Old Life Jacket!?

Dood, say it ain't so! Did Club Penguin remove old Life Jackets from our inventory? If so, why?

Rockhopper gave us a Life Jacket as a free item, but it is no longer in my inventory! Check out this picture from January 23, 2008:

If you try to click it, you get the famous "Oops!" screen:

How can Club Penguin make a FREE item become a member item? Weird!

It makes me wonder, if they did remove old life jackets from our inventory and/or make them member items, is it so only members would be able to ride the boat to the Brown Puffle Cave? This is SO unfair! I sure hope it is just a bug, but a little hard to believe, don't ya think?

Do you still have your old life jacket? Or, has it been removed like mine? Do you think Club Penguin took the item intentionally or do you think it is just a bug?

Club Penguin Wilderness Expedition and BROWN PUFFLE Cheats!

Go to the Dock! Follow the arrow to the Glade!

Get the FREE item!

You have now found the Expedition Hat cheat!

Keep going to the right!

To get through the Wilderness maze, click the Machine parts thingys that fall to the ground and follow the path!

Then you will get to this Cliff Room!

Here is the key to solve the machine puzzle: (Thanks, Stickers303)

1. Plug in the power point.
2. Press the coffee beans.
3. Press the 'Tap' on the coffee machine.
4. Press the Jug.
5. Click the green button.
6. Push down the Pink and Green switch, then press the Yellow and Pink buttons and finally the Blue and Pink buttons.
7. Pull down the blue lever.
8. Press the green Piano Keys.
9. Throw a snowball at the fire.
10. Press the green Piano keys again.
11. Press the green button.
12. Press all the green squares.
13. Pull down the Blue and Pink levers.
14. Click the spinny thing next to the levers.
15. Pull down the red lever next to the telephone.
16. Click the sauce bottle.'
17. Click the Water.
18. Click the air vent.
19. Click the toaster.
20. Trow a snowball at the target. 

Now get on the barrel!

Get off the barrel.

You will now need build the boat. 

If you are a member, get on the boat! Don't forget your Life Jacket! You will need it to get on the boat!

You have now made it to the Brown Puffle Cave! WOOT!

Go inside the Brown Puffle Cave!

Click the note on the upper left corner!

You can now adopt your Brown Puffle for FREE! Saweet! Remember when I told you we would get the Brown Puffle at this party?

Black/Brown Club Penguin Puffle FINAL Word!

We just got this "BROWN" Puffle from ToysRUs.com.

Is it Brown? Does it SAY it is Brown? Does it LOOK Brown? Or is it a COLOR VARIATION WHICH MAKES IT RARE!? Does it have a chocolatey center?

Let's not make up any more rumors. Let's not guess what happened. So, just for the record let's examine the FACTS!

FACT: TWO people at Toysrus.com told us the Puffle would be "BROWN".

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle LOOKS Brown under house lights.

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle was a typo according to One person at Toysrus.com.

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle LOOKS GRAY under store lights.

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle has the same face as the Black Puffle.

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle SAYS it is a BLACK Puffle on the tag.

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle is not a COLOR VARIATION.

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle is NOT RARE.

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle does not have a chocolatey center.

and finally...

FACT: This "Brown" Puffle is... BLACK! lol.

We did not report this BEFORE we had the facts. We did want to ACTUALLY SEE THIS SUPPOSED BROWN PUFFLE before we just guessed or listened to what someone else told us. We found of the FACTS just for you!

So why did we buy this Puffle from toysrus.com if it was really black? Sure, Club Penguin said it was black BUT...

We were wanting to make sure it was not a "color variation".

Color variations can be very rare and can become worth a lot of money! So always be on the look out for color variations!

That would have been awesome! Wouldn't that have been cool?! It would have been worth a lot of money. But no.;-}

Thanks to all of you who help us! A lot of you knew it was black. U rock. Now you know the whole story, in BLACK and white. ;-)
