Well here is what they have been up to! A new game called Mech Mice!

Check out the sweet little screenhog clock under his monitor!

Mech Mice is not finished yet, but this will be a browser based MMORPG game similar to Club Penguin. BUT it will NOT be Flash!

It will be a Unity 3D game! Which means you will need a Unity plug in. Want to know what Unity games are?

Club Penguin's Screenhog on Puffle History: Part 2!

Club Penguin's Screenhog has posted part two of puffle origins. This time he talks about the purple, red, and yellow puffles.

Here is what he had to say:

In 2006, the purple puffle was the fifth puffle type to be discovered. The first penguin known to have a purple puffle was Aunt Arctic, but one day, she lost it. She turned to the Penguin Secret Agency for help, and the purple puffle was found. Soon after, other purple puffles populated the Pet Shop. (Say that three times fast.)

The red puffle came soon after, and was brought by Rockhopper as a special Christmas gift. Red puffles are native to Rockhopper Island, and only arrived on Club Penguin after hitching a ride on Rockhopper's ship!

The next puffle was the yellow puffle in November 2007. Yellow puffles, who love anything artistic, kept themselves hidden for years. But when penguins started to build a Stage, they were too curious to stay away any longer.

Wow! I love to review the puffle's history, don't you? Next time, Screenhog will tell the stories of the last three puffle colors. Cool, huh?

Thanks, Screenhog! You rock!

Screenhog Tells Puffle History!

Club Pegnuin's Screenhog shares a bit about puffle history. Here is what he said:

Last month, a penguin named Gwen78 said that she wanted to hear the history of where the puffles came from. Well, I have no idea where they originally came from, but I can tell you how they were all discovered on Club Penguin!

You see, it used to be that penguins thought that they were the only creatures that lived on the island... until something strange began to happen. Furry creatures began popping up all over the place:

It turned out that Club Penguin was full of these furry creatures, and there were four colors; blue, pink, green, and black. After determining that the creatures were safe, the penguins of the island named them "puffles". Penguins loved the puffles, and wanted to take care of them, so a Pet Shop was built.

Most of the puffles really enjoyed the opportunity to be adopted by penguins, but the green puffle in the Night Club loved his spot so much that he stayed there. So, next time you're in the Night Club, say hi to one of the oldest puffles in Club Penguin.

But wait, you say... how were the other puffles discovered? Well, let's save that bit of history for another day. Waddle on!

Wow! Nice job, Sceenhog!

Did you know this Club Penguin history? Coolness, huh?

Screenhog On Club Penguin's Halloween Igloo Decorating Contest!

As you know, Club Penguin will be having a Halloween Igloo Decorating Contest next weekend.  Screenhog loved all your ideas on Wednesday's Blog, and now he is ready for the contest.  He also wanted to remind us that once a member buys an igloo now, it will go into their inventory. This is so much better than the old way when you would loose your iggy every time you wanted to change it.

Check out Screenhog's iggy inventory:

Kinda phunnie Halloween igloo, don't ya think? ;-)

COOL! Be looking for it tomorrow! What do you think about this? What could it mean? Is it real?

So, yeah, looks like this is probably a fake. LOL. But I'm not going to take this post down, because I think everyone should see what goes on and experience all the drama. It's just another example of what I said earlier, Mimo get the craziest emails!

Club Penguin "Don't Miss List" By Screenhog!

Well, since the Medieval Party will be ending on May 16th, Screenhog wants to make sure you don't miss out on anything. Here are the things he thinks you should make sure you see:

~Rule your kingdom at the thrones in the Night Club Lounge
~Hold a tournament at the Rink with jousting and snowball targets
~Check out the Beacon at the Lighthouse - there's a big bonfire
~The mirror at the Ski Hill tries to answer your questions
~The princess castle at the top of the Coffee Shop - the fountain even has Koi fish
~If you go to the Gift Shop market, you'll see a special Medieval Party catalog
~The snowball throwing contraptions at the Snow Forts
~The Book Room has been turned into an old library, with scrolls everywhere
~There's a wizard's hat in the Lighthouse... have you picked up one yet?

Have you tried all these things? Let me know if you missed any of it! ;-)

Club Penguin's Screenhog On Puffle Design!

It has been awhile since we have heard from Screenhog, but this is what he said about puffle design:

"Hi everyone, it's Screenhog!

It's the time of year when we honor the island's best pets - puffles. Way back when Club Penguin first launched, there weren't any puffles at all. But a lot of you asked to have some kind of pet to adopt and we decided to make up a completely new creature. That's how the puffle came to be. Actually, you guys even decided on the name "puffle"!

Last year we showed a couple of the original sketches back from November 2005 when artists first started sketching what a penguin's pet might look like - we wanted to show some of those again (in case you missed them) plus a few more that have never been seen before."

I'm glad he admitted he has already shown us some puffle designs.

I think the top green one is pretty phunnie looking, but I am glad they picked the current puffle design. How 'bout you? Do you have a favorite one?

Happy77 Asks Screenhog About Coins!

Since Coins for Change begins this week, Happy77 asked Screenhog a few questions about coins!

Q: Can you tell us any game secrets so we can collect coins faster?
A: There are games where bringing a certain color puffle will help you! There's also the challenge of getting through Jet Pack Adventure without earning a single coin. There's a big reward if you can do it.

Q: Any suggestions for penguins who want to do extra things to celebrate the season?
A: Well, Coins For Change is such a good time for helping others, so I'd suggest helping other penguins. Maybe if you see new penguins, give a tour! If someone's looking for the pin, help them out. (Pssst... the in-pay is in the orest-Fay!)

Q: Are there other ways for penguins to celebrate Coins For Change?
A: There are lots of things you and your friends and family can do to make a difference for other people around the world! Volunteering some time is a good place to start. Let us know your ideas.

So, any cool things you are doing to help others? Be sure and let us know!

Club Penguin's Screenhog Talks Card-Jitsu Fire!

I guess Screenhog though many penguins were having trouble figuring out Card-Jitsu Fire. Here are his tips:

"General Stuff:
There are practice mats for 2, 3, and 4 players. You can play with friends there.
If you talk to Sensei, and you pick the "Earn your Fire Suit" option, he'll set up a match. You get more experience points if you do this.
You can enter new offline trading card codes and you'll get cards added to your online deck. You won't see the animations in the Card-Jitsu Fire game but you can see them if you're playing the original Card-Jitsu game.

How to Play:
On your turn, select the stone which determines the spaces you move, choose your tile (you have 2 options), and then you'll pick your card to determine the outcome of the round.
If you land on one of these, - choose a card. The highest number wins. If you don't have the element, you cannot win that round.
If you end up with this symbol, or if you land on the same space as an opponent, you're going to have a Card-Jitsu battle - the elements determine the winner (water beats fire, etc. as in the original Card-Jitsu).
If you end up on this symbol, you get to choose which of the 3 elements you'd like to play!
If you're playing and someone quits, you get the experience points. If you quit, you don't get any points."

So, are you now an expert at the game? ;-)

Don't forget Friday will be the Great Snow Maze! I hope to see you there!

Screenhog Talks About Card-Jitsu Fire!

Club Penguin's Screenhog talks about card-jistu fire! Here is what he said:

"Hi everyone! It's Screenhog again.

If you haven't been there yet, you might want to check out the construction for the Card-Jitsu Fire game. It's our newest multiplayer game and it'll launch November 24th!

You might not know, but multiplayer games are pretty complicated to make. Only one other game in Club Penguin supports 4 players - Sled Racing. Up to 4 ninjas will be able to play together in Card-Jitsu Fire and the team's been working really, really hard to get it ready. Since the new game starts next week, I wanted to try and cover a few things you've asked about:

· Card-Jitsu Fire isn't just about new cards. It's a whole new way of using all your cards in a Fire Ninja setting.

· You'll be using the cards you have already collected. But it's not just Fire cards - you'll be able to master the element of fire but you'll have to use all the elements to do so."

This new game sound rather sweet, huh? Let me know what you think about Card-Jitsu Fire!

"Screamhog" Talks Halloween Party!

Since it is Halloween, Screenhog or should we call him "Screamhog", has this to say about the Halloween Party:

'"Night of the Living Sled" is back. Yes, Club Penguin's funniest scary movie continues at the Lighthouse! If you weren't here last year, you can watch 1 and 2 at the Coffee Shop and Night Club.

All is not what it seems at the Mine Shack... it's been replaced with a Haunted House! Try clicking on everything... there are a lot of surprises there.

After the Haunted House, head down to the Mine and click on the glowing green lamp. The laboratory is back, with some extra clothes to help turn yourself into a monster.

Ready to go trick-or-treating? 8 candy pieces are waiting for you to find.

Last, but not least, Club Penguin is dark and stormy! Enjoy it while it lasts! It's a perfect time of year to play Hide and Seek with your friends."

I think it is usually pretty cool when Screenhog gives us some insight into Club Penguin, but, didn't we already know all of this?

Come on Club Penguin give us some more coolness! Tell us something we don't already know! Who's with me?

Grey, Club Penguin's New Color... NOT!

Many penguin's have been asking if grey would be a new penguin color after Club Penguin posted the "You Decide" gnome costumes on grey penguins. But, here is what Screenhog had to say about it:

"Grey is neutral - which means it doesn't look strange next to a different color. If we were to use a yellow or dark blue penguin all the time when we designed clothes, we might end up making a lot of clothing items that look really good on yellow or dark blue penguins, but nothing else! Using a grey penguin gives us the best chance of creating clothing items with colors that work on all penguins."

Remember, the Gnome costume will be in the November Stage catalog. But, there will be a new furniture catalog and the Igloo Decorating contest this Friday!

This is huge! I have super advanced sneak peak pix of the Halloween party on Secret Builders on my newest blog.

Cool, huh?

Screenhog Talks Club Penguin's Music Jam

Here are some things Screenhog doesn't want you to miss at the Music Jam:

If you have an instrument, then you should go to the Lighthouse stage! If you play your drums, tuba, trombone, or any guitar, you can actually hear what you're playing. Just wear the instrument (only the instrument and no other items) and dance!
The Underground Cave has a floor piano! Step on a key. Oh, and the switch on the wall lets you hear other penguins!
There are musical icicles in the Mine. Mouse over them!
Battle of the Bands at the Snow Forts! The stages are connected to a meter and the one with the most penguins wins!
The Music Maker 3000 is back! Last year it was in the Dojo but this time it's near the Snow Forts. Bring some friends and play giant musical instruments.
Keep checking out the big stage at the Dock as it plays music from all of the other stages. (It's also the entrance to the Backstage.)

I hope you are all having phun at the Music Jam, but don't forget the Planet Cazmo Mimo Skateboard Par-tay TONIGHT. Let's rock Cazmo!
