Children in India have always been able to play the English version of Club Penguin, but they really could not become members too easily since Club Penguin wasn't able to except Indian rupees. Rupees are the official currency or money in India.
Now, the new version of Club Penguin is available for 199 rupees which is $4.30 per month. They even have the same parental controls that we have.
In India, Club Penguin will have to compete against a well established virtual world made in India. It's called Chimpoo. Chimpoo is a great little virtual world where your avatars are little chimps of course!
