I really don't like this at all. Aqua Grabber was the game I would play to get coins easily. The Soda one was my favorite and now Club Penguin had to ruin something else I loved. This is lame.

BTW, my friend recently became a member, and now that her membership has ended, she can't wear her member clothes/items anymore which is silly. I understand there are yearly memberships but I doubt there are many people who will pay year after year for memebrship. They should at least let the memebrs keep there clothes.

A lot of us have been here for a long time, now to suddenly have this taken away! I mean, at least the non members never -could- do the multi-player mode on dance contest so they would never miss it. Things like that. something about this I dont think of as right.... Just my opinion.

Mimo if you agree with all the non members about these new games that were like almost the only thing left for non members to do on CP because everything is Members Only Exclusive and you put a post about campaign that says ''ClubPenguin nonmembers get more Campaign'' I bet CP will definetly listen because your like the most famous blogger. Everything is literally for members now. Like the first few levels on some games are for both non-members and members, but to continue you need membership. To me, that is RIDICULOUS.

Disney needs to learn to be fair, and that means non-members should be able to at least get something from each catalog around the island, and at least get the games back!

ReplyDeleteI'm a member and while I think stamps are awsome they have gone a bit too far with membership. Catchin Waves and Aqua Grabber are fine with these changes in my opinion. Astro Barrier really should allow at least 10 levels to non members and Jet Pack Adventure is an outrage now. 1 Level? Really? Really??? I'm not sure which levels in Thin Ice are members only so I can't give an opinion.

Hehe i think members rules! We're the ones who pay. I know some people can't pay, but at least they can still play games, buy puffles, get backgrounds and flags, have clothes from free items, meet famous people, (they dont always go into member rooms), get pins, get stamps, go to all the rooms members can go into (unless it's a party), they can be a tour guide and EPF agent, do missions and field ops, get belts from the dojo, be a ninja without the ninja suit, send mail, get into rockhoppers ship and alot more!

My friend wanted to get a webkinz and they were $20.00! Club penguin is only 5.95 to start a membership. And there plush toys arent even as much as a webkinz!

Yep I agree. I saw this coming too. I kinda don't mind the non-members having to pay for games they play... but I wish they could go into all rooms. Know what I mean? Idk if that would be the best solution but it's just what I thought of off the top of my head, haha. ;)

Hmmmm... That's a good idea! I like it. Yeah they should have just added MORE levels. I didn't think of that when they said it, but hearing it now I think that would have been the best plan. Then, CP wouldn't have all these angry mobs after them! Lol...

Non-members can do alot! :D
They can get free clothes while members have to pay expensive prices for them, do field ops and missions, have 100 buddies, go to member igloos to party, be a tour guide and Epf agent, buy puffles, send penguin mail, go to all the rooms members can unless its a party, they can meet famous people because they dont always go into member only rooms, they can be a ninja and get belts, get pins and stamps, buy backgrounds and flags, play games, they can at least look at clothing catalogs, and at least they have a cozy igloo!
Members can do all of that too, but their options are a bit more expanded. And the prices to buy stuff are super expensive. Non members dont have to worry about paying for clothes or furniture.

Club penguin is just getting boring for non-members so they are more likely to quit that pay up. Just because they make this cool new thing so nonmembers wouldn't be bored, that doesn't mean they can take away non-member games that they could play easily before.
Like Splash Man 1 said, Aqua Grabber was one of my favorite games, especially my brother's favorite game. When he logged on this morning, he was calling me to come look at what he found, and guess what? soda seas, HIS FAVORITE GAME, was gone! I was very upset. Considering my family doesn't have much, it's not like we can just get membership for the heck of it.
I do not think Club Penguin will hear us, however, if we just stop playing, they will be sorry.
I'm sorry to all of the members who do think it's fair, but wait- I'm not sorry!- For all of the members who do think it's fair, are probably just spoiled, and don't know what it's like to not be a member,and not have that much.
But enough about this, since I have wasted enough time already talking about a once fun, exciting, penguin website, that should now be a select website, only suggesting that people with money can have fun.
And that's my final word on this subject.
This is a huge bummer for me. The Aqua Grabber's Soda Seas was my favorite game. They told us they were updating, not taking AWAY! What they essentially did was NOT adding members-only stuff; they just took what was everyone's and gave it to only members. That is really not right. And now it will be a lot harder for non-members to get coins because they have WAY less options. D:

1. Nonmembers do not need to earn coins so what is the problem that you cant catch fluffy?

3. If you earn a member stamp and it expires, wi it take the stamp away?
4. I love collecting stamps because CP was starting to get boring but i found myself logging in more to try to get stamps.
5. You should be able to wear your background to show that you have met the famous penguin to get the stamp because it is so hard to find them!
Overall, I like the updates because I am a member.
Ok, so making NEW member-only levels of games is fine, but TAKING AWAY stuff from non-members, so members can get more STAMPS!? That's not cool. I'm never giving those... MEANIES money ever again!

this is so unfair not all of us have enough money to be paying for things like memberships year after year after year. I used to not care about member things like them buying clothes but things like member only rooms and member only puffles made me upset but it was fine with me. But taking away levels of games just so clubpenguin could make money is just messed up. Why would you do this clubpenguin. Why?

Club penguin have really messed up this time! Like honestly i loved playing jet pack but now all i can play is the first level! And i loved aqua grabber untill the stamps cos now we cant play the soda seas which i loved! And i loved sufing (Still do) but now we can't do the competition or survival levels anymore which stinks! Personally i rathered cp when there were no stamps! Even though i enjoy getting the stamps, i would definitly swap the stamps for getting all the member levels to be non member! So yeah at the moment Club Penguin STINKS!!! =( I think there is something wrong with the people that make cp they must be really low on money if they are this desparate to get people to become members! Ok i could go on for a while but i think this post is long enough already! SO yeah im very VERY ANNOYED!

Ever since Disney took over Club Penguin, it hasn't even been worth playing. They've took all the fun and mysteries out of the game and have "Disneyfied" everything. That's why I don't bother paying the membership and hardly ever get on anymore.

When will the ripping off non members end :( I know why they did it because I finally looked it up and when disney bought club penguin they pay them half (350,000,000) and another half if their success got to a certian point. It didn't so they didn't get $350,000,000 so they might be trying to get a bunch of that money as possible to get what they lost.

It has made me think about really quitting Club Penguin... I am not a member, and I am not wasting my money. But now seriously its to much ppl are gonna start leave this game because all the things are gonna become membership stuff so its like no point of playing which i think is really sad. Seriously u can only play half of the games in this place in the end theres not gonna be many ppl left in cp maybe a couple of thousand will play it in about 2 years time. This game used to be good, but all that changed, Disney is bad in general & I'm so sick and tired of everything revolving around money, I mean this is insane, what's the point of even playing if non-members can't even play the games? They've really gone too far with it this time, and I hope they pay the price. I used to love Disney as a kid, it had all good shows, and really reflected the ideas of Walt Disney himself. Now it just sucks, and I'm getting tired of Club Penguin only caring about money, and nothing else.

I know some people can't pay, but at least they can still play games, buy puffles, get backgrounds and flags, have clothes from free items, meet famous people, (they dont always go into member rooms), get pins, get stamps, go to all the rooms members can go into (unless it's a party), they can be a tour guide and EPF agent, do missions and field ops, get belts from the dojo, be a ninja without the ninja suit, send mail, get into rockhoppers ship and alot more!
If you can pay, then you can do all that and more for only $5.95!
My friend wanted to get a webkinz and they were $20.00! Club penguin is only 5.95 to start a membership. And there plush toys arent even as much as a webkinz!
I know it's not fair that non-members don't get as much that's because they play for free and members actually pay for part of cp. So we were awarded for paying. lol

I agree with you, members PAY to get the cool stuff. I know many people are thinking: "CP only wants $$$" Well yeah they want it, but, tell me the truth, who doesn't want $$$? I mean... That $$$ is the one that gives you a house, that $$$ is the one who gives you a bed and food, that $$$ is the one that gives you a computer and Internet to play CP. Sigh. Its getting worse now. Heres my whole story starting since i have played club penguin. First I know about clubpenguin and i started playing it. I was so happy that i liked CP.at On febuary 2009 they had a party where members can only go to the night club and the opening of the new game dance contest. I was pretty upset about that. But then 2010 almost everything is for members.items, backstage, ETC. At then the present day that made my anger out that it was it. TOO MUCH STUFF FOR MEMBERS!

I have been a member for a long time, i was a non member back in 2008 it was great but then at the end of 2009 i realised club penguin was restricting non members WAAAAAY too much! yeah sure club penguin needs money they are owned by disney blah blah blah but THEY HAVE TONS OF MONEY!!!!!
In about 3 years time i think that Club penguin will have about 1000 users. maybe one quarter of them will be non members. Club Penguin will have to close down because of disney! ITS A KIDS GAME!
