Club Penguin has said they have heard from many of you that you liked the old newspaper style better. So, Billybob decided to let us know a little bit more as to why they changed it. Here is what he said:
"Since we changed the look of the newspaper a few weeks ago, we've heard from some of you that you liked the old style better. Just wanted to let you know a bit about WHY we changed the newspaper...Hmmm, better for us... or them? lol
The old version of the newspaper was taking a LOT of the team's time to make every week. So we wanted to make a new version that would take less time to make, but still keep you up-to-date on all the latest news on the island.
So here's some good news: Now that we've changed the newspaper, the team can spend MORE time on other things you've have been asking for, like parties, puffles, games and other new stuff!
We should have told you about this sooner. Sorry it took so long to let you know! Thanks for your patience and for all the great feedback you guys have sent to us. Keep the ideas coming... we're always looking for ways to make Club Penguin better for you!
Until then... Waddle On!"

Wow, They said more time to work on parties and stuff. But they also said "puffles"! Does this mean a new puffle will be available soon? Or does it take them a year to animate each puffle? either way, Sweet!

ReplyDeleteI kinda prefered the old Club Penguin Times. The new one doesn't have games and comics drawn by kids. If they added a third page with that stuff, that would be cool.

Because when The Club Penguin Team were making it, the newspaper and the new catalog got bugs and it will be out hopefully tomorrow :-)
