If you are using a widget or bot or automatic third party Rockhopper tracker on your site, you are breaking Club Penguin's Terms of Service, you are breaking Club Penguin rules! Whatever you want to call them, they use Club Penguin files to automatically display where Rockhopper is. Besides, everybody says those trackers don't even work very well. LOL!
BTW, "third party" means that Club Penguin did not make it, someone else did.
That is why we here at Club Penguin Gang have never used automatic trackers for Club Penguin.
BUT WHAT CAN WE USE?
You can use comment trackers like the Mimo Tracker or start your own! ;-)
Also, Club Penguin does NOT have any official Club Penguin trackers at this time.
Just trying to help. Just saying...

What about the sort of Xat chat trackers people like your Bud cena, and jmann use?
Its just a sort of 'team work' exercise, and i would imagine cp would encourage teamwork and making friends through tracking.

In a way, yes. Club Penguin's Rules says no third party things, which I guess includes auto trackers. Comment trackers (like Mimo's) are perfectly fine. They never seem to work for me anyway.....

No! Some trackers are "manual" and some are "bots". Bots arent aloud because they track the loacation by doing some hi-tech stuff. Manual is aloud! Manual means that somebody tells mimo the location, and they type that in to the tracker so it shows to all of us! Hope i helped :)

Of course you can use trackers, but, make sure there not against the rules, like make a comment tracker like Mimo. Dont use third Party trackers.

I used a coin cheat ONE TIME, (underline that for me...) it actually worked, it was like two years ago, I had gotten like a serious 30 thousand coins, but then they shut it down. Trackers are lame too, some of them work for a minute or two, but by the time you get on CP they don't work.

The way I found Cadance was by luck when she happened to waddle in the room! It seems no tracker has ever worked for me,not even your comment tracker, which works for a lot, I guess.

Hey, it's okay, I found Rockhopper because he actually followed me! Candence, she just appeared in the middle of the room during the 2009 Penguin Play Awards... XD. And Aunt Arctic, I walked into the stage during the PPA's and she was there, best of luck for me!
P.S. The comment tracker didn't really work for me either, it's okay.

I found rockhopper around 2 times, when I was just sitting in his boat playing treasure hunt and he just walked in. Another time was when I was just at the town, and someone came and screamed "ROCKHOPPER'S AT THE DOCK!" I went and he really was. Best time ever!

Of couse you are! Pin trackers are NOT third party. Pin trackers are just like making a post on your site saying where the pin is! Many people use pin trackers including me!

ReplyDeleteWell, yes you are allowed to use pin trackers. as long as they do not contain Club Penguin files to find it. But if it is updated manually it is perfectly fine.
