I kinda like the old missions better. But I like how we get field ops weekly, so it really doesn't matter. the only thing I don't like is that all that stuff is for members.

Club Penguin should make a small PSA base in the forest behind the Ski Village that is similar to the 2005 base with the original EPF command Room which will connect to one of those tube things. They should also increase the length of the EPF field ops.
I like the PSA missions better. They're harder to solve and you get cool things at the end. I didn't really mind them coming out that often.

ReplyDeleteI think that the field ops are actually better . Firstly, they are weekly,they have missions every week and we get to earn medals to unlock items while the old PSA those not. Secondly, the weekly missions,it is actually kind of challenging as we got to maybe search for the entire club penguin island as you are just only given a clue and you get to really solve it, in your own penguin with your own clothes you know and not like the psa missions where they just give you some places on the map and you would some how know where the clues are and when you play the old psa missions you cannot see yourself!!!!! You are the screen itself!!!! While for the EPF missions, they are a lot of penguins together and you get to see yourself on the screen!!!!! So i king of really like EPf better a little bit compared to the PSA. The EPF Hq is more cool compared to the PSA one...So ya.....Maybe this weeks mission is maybe link to the party.....who knows?.... anyway.....Mimo , you rock!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, but since they are so short, I don't think anybody would want to do them again. Like... we already know where the giant "s" is. It's at the night club sign. So I don't think it's a big deal that they don't have 'em avaliable to do again. :) IMO haha, but good point there.

ReplyDeleteI like parts of both. Missions, are just a bit better, though. I did like the storylines and how you had to think a little bit. Coming out every 6ish months was a downside.
On the other hand, Field-Ops are nice because they come out weekly and you can earn items(If you're a member, that is) but they're too short and easy.
I wish that there were "Missions" that came out once every 2 weeks, were kinda hard, longer, and you could get items with, even as a non-member. But I guess CP just doesn't have enough time on their hands to do that.

I like the old missions because they were cooler, they might not have came out every week, but thats because they were most of the time being20 times longer then the Field Ops. Plus, the missions had a story to go with each one. The field ops don't really come with a story. You know like, they just tell you what happened and send you out to work. I like missions much better.

since we've only had one field op so far, no one can really tell when they are going to come out each week.
Is it never going to come out on the same day in a row? Will it come out at the end of the week? Point is, we've just got to be patient and see what happens.

ReplyDeleteI like the old missions because they were cooler, they might not have came out every week, but thats because they were most of the time being20 times longer then the Field Ops. Plus, the missions had a story to go with each one. The field ops don't really come with a story. You know like, they just tell you what happened and send you out to work. I like missions much better.

I think Club Penguin needs to make Rockhopper have a different background. Once you meet him one time, you don't need to find him again, because it's the same background. He needs a different background everytime.I have met RH(Rockhopper) already, and I still want to meet him, and get something from him everytime he visits!

I like both. I like field ops because they are simple and short, and the points you get at the end will allow you to buy stuff. But I also like PSA missions, because they have more of a plot.

Who knows mayb the ops will get harder and harder every week and longer and longer so i like field ops better plus field ops you can get outfits unlike the psa missions.

ReplyDeleteThe PSA missions were very interesting, and kept me coming back to Club Penguin. The plot line was dynamic and kept getting more and more interesting.
The Field-Ops on the other hand, are small. They come more regularly, but don't take more than five minutes. At the most.
The EPF has clothing and puffles that the PSA didn't have, but that's about it. The EPF is available to anyone if they are invited, but what if you're not? Anyone could join the PSA, and it was also more accessible to non-members. In the PSA, it didn't matter if you were a member or not, there really wasn't a difference. However, the whole thing with Field-Ops is that you get credit to buy stuff. What happens if you aren't a member?
Being a member. That’s the whole thing now, it’s all about money. It feels to me that Club Penguin...Oh wait, I mean DISNEY...got bored spending time on the website. They're all about merchandising now, with their Wii and DS games. It seems to me that they forget that the bulk of their users are on the website, they're too interested in money. There's barely anything that's non-members left on Club Penguin.
It feels like they didn't want to spend the time making the missions for the website, so the destroyed the PSA, began the EPF on the website, and got rid of the missions. Now we get five minute, rather boring, puzzles that aren’t even as fun as the mini-games. It’s like a tv show really – an actor can’t remain on the show because of conflict or arguments, so they work their death or them moving into the plot line. Club Penguin basically did that in getting rid of the PSA.
Club Penguin has been losing members, and while the new stuff is drawing people back, the numbers are going to drop drastically again if they don’t bring back the more interesting things like missions, that kept people (like me for example) interested.
So going back to the original question of "What's More Awesome, Elite Penguin Force Field Ops or old Club Penguin PSA Missions?" I think it’s pretty obvious what I think.
Old missions are way better.

so my choice would be frequent and short. and harder and storylined (although still with some puzzles)
who knows, some of thiem might have the old interface and plot!
so pretty much, really short missions that come weekly, but retain items you got the previous week.

Lemme see, EPF vs. PSA, huh? No contest for me. PSA all the way. Missions and all.
ReplyDeleteI dunno how, but PSA seemed more exclusive (had to pass a test, had be a certain age) to me, ya know? Harder to get in and even harder to stay, as in do the missions. Those things were just awesome. I loved them because they actually made me think about what to do and how to help. Sure, they came out once in a blue moon, but boy, were they fun. I had to play the PSA missions a couple times before I figured out how to get the gifts from the penguins. That was just more exciting and rewarding for me.
Plus, it really felt more official too. We had the F.I.S.H and the catalog, both were just great. I even copied the entire F.I.S.H into a notebook, good thing too. Now with the field gear, I think I counted it'll take 21 weeks to get all the gear (unless they come out with more, which they probably will). Which'll just be too easy, it's just a matter of waiting the weeks. Boo. >.>
So, yeah, meantime? I hang out in the VR Room with the old '07 HQ.
i liked the old missions better. the only thing i like about the new feild ops is that u get stuff to wear. the feild ops. are too short i liked how the old ones had a story. i miss the old missions :(

ReplyDeleteWell, it's hard to choose. I sorta miss the PSA missions because they were fun even though it took a long time to wait for them. The EPF, I'm not sure. The clothing is alright, because I've got the earpiece, but it looks really weird on my penguin and the rest of them are for members. The Field-Ops missions are sort of boring for me. By the way, I don't like how they made the EPF sort of public, unlike the PSA.

Hey i just found cheat on Treasure Hunt on the Migreater when you dig you might see a sparkly thing in the sand that means theres something under it like CANDY or CANES.
