I know, right?! It’s not a holiday party if there are just Christmas decorations and such up as opposed to Christmas, Hanukkah/Chanukah, AND Kwanzaa decorations up! And I also agree with the whole members-only thing. I know that club penguin needs to make money (and one way to do this is to have a lot of member-only activities), but it’s the holidays!! And practically whenever cp has a party, there’s ALWAYS some aspect of the party that excludes non-members! Both of these things are completely unacceptable. We need to do something about this!!

Maybe they made the party but then decide that it should be called a holiday party, and most of the people that play club penguin celebate christmas. Would you like it if it was the other way atound? where there was no christmas stuff up? Clubpenguin knows they can't please everyone so they try to please most of the people so that's why there's a christmas tree up. But they should have a sever for a hoilday that opens when the hoilday is near.

They should sell CP back to Rsnail or Billybob or some rich dude. I'm probably on your side for their post. If they wanted to make people into their Parties they have to make it easier to get membership (Contests, Cheaper, and for non-members a good week or month to try membership out). Yeah, I know. I think 2 or 3 years ago, I sent an ask aunt arctic asking her why there were no Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or any other religion's things at this time of year. Everything is christmas. No reply. Personally, I think that it would be a good idea to put out some new item,instead of bringing everything back agin. It's so annoying that they do that because really, what's the point of it? Older penguins and newbies all have the same items, so what's the point of getting them if everyones still gonna look the same. Also, it's annoying that I've been playing since the very first month, and now have nothing to show for it. Sorry for complaining, but it's annoying.

thats what ive said from the beginning. But Disney has made cp worse. They're the cause of all the member only stuff. If Cp gets 70 percent of their accounts to switch to member, they get THREE BILLION DOLLARS, even after receiving 2 million for letting disney buy them out. Guys, MILLIONS of children play Club penguin. Disney can't possibly afford to keep every single one of them happy. I'm not trying to hate on Mimo or all his fans, but CP is doing the best they can to give us all a happy holidays. And, the sleigh ride isn't really that great. U get a santa outfit at the end, which you can get from the treasure book by buying a toy. Even though there is some part of every party that is for members, They're not always that amazing. I mean, come on, it's a game, right? Please don't take this comment offensive, I personally believe CP could try to include nonmembers a little more, but we don't need to get upset over every little member activity. And, they could put up some Hanukkah and Kwanza decorations. Thanx :]

There not making it any better by calling it a "Holiday Party" instead of a Christmas one because there are Santa suits, Christmas trees, etc, I don't see any Hanukah candles (I don't remember what they are called, sorry!)or anything like that! ReplyDeleteClub Penguin Does not even have to change the name. They do not celebrate the Christan holiday which celebrates the birth of Jesus, but the secular holiday of Christmas. The two may have the same name, but they are entirely different. This means that they are showing a crazy amount of political correctness. This would be necessary if they had a nativity scene, or a crucifix up, but they don't.

If you think about it Disney made Club Penguin worst cause before disney you can lets say some stuff you cant say now, if they blocked so many words even numbers, whats the point of being a agent? They made being a agent boring, and since Disney took over has anyone noticed it became laggier? Hey Mimo, I found a weird glitch, so here it is:
ReplyDeleteI was in someone else's igloo, then they logged off, then logged back on and came back to their igloo. I also had my buddy list open. I said hi and so did they, and then it kind of froze. I couldn't send my messages, or close the buddy list, or move. But here's the weird part, The newspaper was switching from saying NEWS to DIARIO. Um Mimo the reason they have members only rooms because everyone who ask there parents to get a membership account and they should get a non-members room so everyone could feel included. Members get the lounge and non members get the lighthouse idk but they can make it cool for non-member.Members should have a place without no non-members because members could just want to be members so they deserve to have some peace and quiet from the non-members

ReplyDeleteFor goodness sake. This has only been done because apparently, having 'Christmas' in a game offends some people, as it is technically a religious name. In order to not offend the minority of people who find Christmas offensive (but of course their own celebrations are perfectly acceptable!) they have to change it to 'Happy Holidays'. Just because people believe different things doesn't mean that we have to change our celebrations to include other religions into it.

I know if people don't celebrate Christmas why have all of that up. Everything is Christmas themed and they end up calling it a "Holiday Party". I don't know if you know this, but it's possible to get a grey puffle house. here's how you do it, go into the pet shop, click the furniture catalogue, go to the puffle house page, hit puffle and it will say "would you like to buy the grey puffle house for 500 coins" click yes and... BAM its in your inventory!

Anyways, I know this is starting to turn into a debate, but I was just going to say that I personally believe that members pay, so they deserve more. On my other penguin, I am a member, however on this one I am not. I understand that there is a limit of what nonmembers can do, but I spend my allowance on CP, so I want more. Maybe that could make other ways that would make everyone happy. On other websites nonmembers can do a lot! I know a lot of people debate about this, but I just wanted to have a say.

DING DING DING I have an idea... hopefully a good one. Ok so like they have the language selections they could have holiday selections around this time of year. Like say you celebrate Kwanzaa, click Kwanzaa on the top of the page. You could also check out Christmas and Hanukkah. YES! I am smart huh?

Yah thats true but i do celebrate other holidays around this time and it kind of made me mad they didnt have a party for those. I am glad they made it a "Holiday Party" instead of a Christmas Party. And there are member only rooms because members have to PAY for those privileges!

ReplyDeleteWell, by everyone they mean the other people who don't celebrate Christmas. There are some people who celebrate Hanukkah, so they won't have a clue when people put up Christmas trees and pictures of Santa Claus instead of Stars of David an unleavened bread. This is my opinion, OK? They don't have to get rid of the Christmas trees, but just include other cultural stuff, you know what I mean? It's a bit too late to call it a Holiday Party, so if BillyBob's reading this, you might want to save it 'till next year...

ReplyDeleteI know, right?! It’s not a holiday party if there are just Christmas decorations and such up as opposed to Christmas, Hanukkah/Chanukah, AND Kwanzaa decorations up! And I also agree with the whole members-only thing. I know that club penguin needs to make money (and one way to do this is to have a lot of member-only activities), but it’s the holidays!! And practically whenever cp has a party, there’s ALWAYS some aspect of the party that excludes non-members! Both of these things are completely unacceptable. We need to do something about this!!

They should sell CP back to Rsnail or Billybob or some rich dude. I'm probably on your side for their post. If they wanted to make people into their Parties they have to make it easier to get membership (Contests, Cheaper, and for non-members a good week or month to try membership out). You are correct and I understand your theory very much. Club Penguin should also add more free items and Rockhopper should return to CP more often. Thanks for bringing that up! It's easy! Do you know HTML tags? They make things bold or italics and stuff. To get it bold, you just do < and b and then >, but no spaces in between. So it will lok like this . It works with italics, too, except you use an i like this . To end, do < / b and > ...but still no spaces. Did I help? If I didn't just tell me!

I think club penguin makes member rooms so that people would want to give them money. And Mimo you are right! Disney and Club Penguin are making it a "holiday party" not a Christmas party.
