Club Penguin knows all you awesome penguins love helping others, so Coins for Change will be returning again for the 3rd year in a row!
If you are new, Coins For Change is when Club Penguin donates 1 million dollars to 3 worthy causes. The causes this year are: helping kids who are poor, helping kids who are sick, and helping the environment. The cool thing is, we get to "vote" on how much money each charity gets by donating our Club Penguin coins we earn playing games. So, get out there and earn lots of coins to donate!
Coins For Change will be from December 11th through December 20th and will be kicked off by the arrival of Rockhopper! He will be bringing some rare items that will make it possible to donate coins right inside our igloos! Awesome!

Yes, on CfC (Coins for Change) 2007 you could get a little postcard that you could find on the "awards" section of your player card. It wasn't a big deal, it only says "Thanks for donating" and a pic of CfC's logo. On CfC 2008, you could get a postcard that you could find on Penguin Mail that was almost the same as the one of 2007. Who knows what we'll get this year!

That is bad. You shouldn't always put CPG mod in your comments, only when you finish answering a question or it won't move up ur rank.
I am going to play every single game on the island, and keep on playing them until I have earned at least 500 coins from each game! Then I'm going to donate more than half of my coins, and then start the cycle over again! I can't wait for Rockhopper, either! I really wish it would be all three :) they are all really important. I would split between helping the sick kids and the environment. This may answer your questions: You don't recieve prizes like the Fall Fair, you do not need to pay real money and you don't have to do anything, but it would be really nice if u did.

You know what? You are 100% right. The holiday season and Coins for Change time is about including and thinking about EVERYBODY. By excluding non- members, CP isn't thinking about EVERY PENGUIN, just the people who pay. Someone should tell CP that...
