I think you should give your parents a choice: Either get a toy with 2 member clothes for free (Near 7 GBP) or 1 Month member ship with infinate member clothes (3.95 GBP)! So your Parents should go with the membership!

umm I agree with some of it but not all of it. I used to play club penguin all the time but my mom started telling me I was playing too much so now I play some but not too much.So no I might play every other day. I agree some people play too much. I think some of the things people say and do on club penguin are not nice. I see lots of non members get teased and I am a member, but Disney pressures you a lot to get a membership but club penguin is fun! :)

I've been teased A LOT of times on club penguin because i'm not a member, and i've seen other penguins get teased too. And when i report them, they say, "who cares. I get reported all the time." and are just really rude to non members.

Membership on cp is cheaper than going to the cinema to watch a movie and its safe and more fun and interactive. I wasent "regected" Course im a member now, but that was because santa thought i was a good girl (wink) either way, i have TONS of freinds that are non members! It dosent make a diffrence! i have a membership and i only go on cp for parties now. thats why i visit this site every day. i couldnt even hear anything but the tv show lady because i turned down the volume so i wont wake my mum. and im not doing capital letters or apostraphees because i have a bleeding nose :-~) (get it?)

ReplyDeleteI agree that almost all communities especially club penguin are basically making it so you need to have a membership. when I first joined club penguin it was for everybody except buying clothes, pins, puffles, and igloo furniture, and igloo upgrades, but I guess club penguin wasn't getting enough money so they turned into this. I mean you need to be a member for every single bleeping thing. you basically have no free will if your a non member. to me members have always been show offy jerks.

Ok, that made no sense at all. It's a game! It's for fun! And it is not unfair for members because CP has to pay for all of that special stuff. It's not all free. That mom has some "control" and "worrying" issues. They make it seam like a bad thing, when it's just for fun.

Before when I was a non-member, I tried to get people to socialize with me and I tried to get members to talk to me, but they turned me down. Now that I'm a member, I'm getting more friends and stuff. One non-member sent a friend request, and when I said "Yes" they were like, "Oh my gosh, you're so nice! Thank you for adding me!" I felt pretty bad. Thanks for posting this, Mimo!

That's an EGGcellent point and Mimo IS the coolest but he has a membership now. That's how he got into the Fire thing.
I really think that that news report is pretty dumb. It isn't mean that they don't get clothes and accepted into parties, they are encouraging them to get a membership! Club Penguin needs the money from memberships to keep the site running! There are plenty of clothes and things to do for non members, people are just being far too dramatic.

Club Penguin does make me want more stuff, but i wouldn't say it makes me GREEDY. I want the cool things, just like real life.
YES! You SOOO can be cool without a membership! I used to host nonmember parties and cool nonmember activities like Sled Racing parties. I'm not always a member, right now i am, but when i'm not i wear my unlocked items and party with my fellow non's! Nons can unlock things, get free items at parties, and lots more!
Yes, i was teased once because they thought i wasn't a member, but it turns out i actually WAS. But i wasn't teased any other times.

ReplyDeleteIf you get the right clothes, and are very dedicated to the website, just think what would change if you were a member. I'm not a member on Club Penguin (I want to) but people ask me all the time if I am because the way I dress, most people never seen the outfits I wear. If you stay on long enough, you'll find that great outfits aren't bought, they're made. I've been on Club penguin for over 4 years and I am perfectly happy not being a member.

It's not worth real money to have fake money just to impress some spoiled kids who think they're better than the non-members. In reality, non-member kids should be rewarded since they're the ones that realize that fake money isn't worth paying real money to get. I do agree... Sometimes I see some snobby members being so mean to other penguins. All I do is report them right away. If you report someone don't tell them about it. It's better to keep it a secret because some other person might think ypu just report people for no reason.
I do think it is kinda unfair that non members cant do anything. I mean they only get free head items now.....from what I have seen They should at least allow them to buy one item out of the style catalog...bot NOOOO. Be a member......
