So, I believe that since it says that he is testing the invention in his lab, he may only appear in the lab, like the band only appeared backstage during the music jam...

Whenever i go to my igloo it says LOADING THE IGLOO.
And then it takes FOREVER to load. Well atleast it does that on my computer.

I found Gary at server Outback.I was the only one in the lab along with my friend Zeans.So he comes at 3:14 and leaves at 3:38 and all that time we were just chatting. we help him fix his potion.man Gary is one crazy mad scientist and he panics alot most of his words were like Oh! or Oh Dear! so ya gary was cool very cool so cool that he was awesome so cool that someone will have to invent a sooo amazing word for a sooo amazing person or penguin like gary and u so mimo tommorrow can u try going on that time and server and see if see him? ur the best!!!!!! and gary is to!!!!!!

Hey Poseidonbub! Here are a few tips to find Gary the Gadget Guy:
1. Gary usually enters partially populated servers. Try those servers instead.
2. When i say partially populated servers, go to servers with mainly three or four units of penguins.( the green strokes).
3. Ask for help from other penguins,and you will never know!They might be saying the truth!
4. You could try to join a popular Club Penguin chatroom where many people share their ideas. This way,you could find out where Gary is in a faster rate by conducting a search party with all the other users of the chatroom!

Gary is only in the missions. He is never out in the open until NOW. Hope this helped.

The lab is gone. It was in the bookroom during the hallowwen party.
