The first thing you can do is click the metal in the upper right to see the races.
The first race is the Marathon and it is at the Ski Village. You must start behind the starting line and wait for the countdown before racing. Then you can move along the track. YOU MUST STOP AT EVERY LIGHT LIGHT AND MAKE IT LIGHT UP! If you do not do this you will not get the prize.
The next race is the Three Lap Race at the Iceberg! It is pretty short. Again, you need to hit all the lights. Sometimes they don't work very well. Probably a glitch.
The last race is the Freestyle Swim and it is at the Underground Pool! I really had trouble the first time getting the lights to go off. But they do work. ;-)
WooHoo! You have the Gold Metal and you are now like Michael Phelps! ;-)
If you are a member, you can go to the Soccer Field. Remember, the Soccer field is NOT the Ice Rink. You can get to it from the Snow Forts.

That means there's probably one that you missed! Try the one by the boat at the dock or the one at the VERY very beginning. Those are the ones I missed!

ReplyDeleteYou have to pass every light and if you don't then they won't work. Also you have to stop at the lights so it counts and then when the light goes on go on. If one light isn't lighting up, then go back and see if you missed any lights. Good luck!

A. I had a bit of trouble with that one too. If it won't turn on it's probably because you missed one. Look carefully some can be a bit tricky.

i think that when you go around the course, if you miss a torch on one web page and then move on to the next, it won't lite your torches.
i had a lot of trouble lighting my torch on a page, and when i went back to the page before it, i saw that i missed a torch. so i lit the torch i missed. and went to the next page. then all my torches lit up.
i hope this might help some one who has trouble like i did!

Hey everyone! It seems like a lot of you have been having lots of troubles with the lights around Club Penguin for the races. But here's a tip. When you get to a new room for the race, look around carefully and try to find all the lights. You may be surprised that there is one or two you have missed. And always stay on the track. I hope this helps you earn that gold medal faster!

Mimo gives away membership because he knows that there are some families out there that don't think paying $50 for an online membership is worth it. Others just can't afford it, or something else. Mimo recognizes these reasons but instead of pointing out these reasons, has contests so all penguins, whether their families are willing to pay for the membership or not, have a fair chance of getting one anyways. As for why Mimo doesn't get a membership himself? Well, I don't know.

There are many opinions on how to make the best coins. But there really is no game that gives you tons of coins. It all depends on what ones you are good and and you like playing. I am good at cart surfer and bean counters. I also enjoy playing them. Pizzatron 3000 can give you lots of coins to, but I don't think its that fun. Just find a game you enjoy playing and are good at and make some moola!!

There is face paint in the Pizza Parlor and in the Coffee Shop. But that is all for now. They may bring out some new items as the games progress but maybe not. Who knows? They don't always have a whole lot of free items when there is a party so don't expect too much!

there is a glitch in the iceberg race. jus go to the first light without going to the start of the race and then goto the start line then a mssg. will appear LAP 2

The soccer rink is only available to members. Also you can only get to it from the snow forts. No, you cant use your map!

ReplyDeleteok so first of all, you gotta be patient with the lights. just walk close to it (on the track, and not on TOP of it), and keep trying! if you didnt light up a light in one of the previous rooms, the other torches will still light up, but if you're doing the really long marathon then the lights at the very end wont light up if you missed one.
You need to buy the ebooks to get them, but if you won a contest then mimo will probably send it to you soon!
Uh i really doubt michael phelps has a cp account, cuz 1) hes an adult, 2) hes in china and probably recuperating from his races, 3) china servers usually block club penguin, and 4) if phelps really had a cp account he wouldnt go boasting about who he was. NO adult would go telling everyone "hey, look at me im a big 24 year old wiht a club penguin account!!"
it just doesnt make sense.
I think Ufride is a member, if he can get into the soccer field and wear member clothes =]
For nonmembers, the rink is still a rink, so when you go into it, it'll look basically the same as before. with some signs and stuff =]
remember: there are NO hidden lights! just keep trying to get em and you'll get it!
Mimo said he supports the blue team! lol
and yes, if you wear JUST the paint and nothing else, then wave, you will be holding up a "go [blue or red, depending on the paint color]" sign =]

Follow these tips if your getting stuck with the lights:
~ Make sure you go slowly in case you miss one
~ Make sure you look for all of them (Some are tricky to find)
~ Make sure you don't skip any
~ Follow the arrows to make sure your going the right way

The lights there sometiems dont work coz there is usually a glitch or somethin, and CP obviously havent squished 'em all yet! :D
That happened 2 me i think 2 times, and what I did was go back to the ski village and start again.
Its annoying, but it works! :D

Well the reason it is not working is probably because you missed one or two look in the dock there is a lot there.

Ok so basically all of you are struggling with some of the lights on the marathon!
This is just because there are a couple of glitches around, and some of the lights are REALLY hard to light up!
So what I did was restart the game, by just returning to the ski village and starting again, and then all the lights that i DID manage to light up, with stay that way, so you just have to complete the rest!
Usually when you restart you can get further than you usually do! :)

I was having trouble with the lights on the Marathon, however I noticed that whenever I couldn't turn on a light I would go back to the previous room and see a light that I missed.

ReplyDeletesage, i suggest logging out of cp and then logging back in. you have to restart the race... the lights should work now. thats what i did and it worked =]

ReplyDeleteIf you go to the Snow Forts and then go towards the sign which says HOCKEY you will be in The Ice Rink which has been turned into a hockey stadium.

anonymous, try walking back and forth and stop next to the light, on the pathway. just keep trying, it should light up. otherwise, just restart cp and try again ^_^

It might be a bug? So you could report it to CP, or have you missed a light out, or maybe stepped out track? Try go back and do it again.
