Maybe the plants are just plain dumb and aren't able to tell the difference between spring and a warm winter. Or maybe herberts using the box demension to sneak into our igloos and now he has mutated them so they go through life quicker and instead of seeds they have polar bears that Herbert commands.

Mimo's smart enough to know that. But he is always being weird (in a good way). Besides, where I am, it's never really that cold and there's never snow so we can't tell autumn and winter apart without looking at the calendar.
